Going out there in the rain and cold and sitting there for approx. 2hrs. They had no decision. After asking to see the numbers several times, I was then advised I was only going to get $500 for my 2003 4Runner Sport loaded. Sure it has 186000 miles, but every appraisal site from KBB, NADA, Edmunds and Carfax gave a trade in value from a low of $1750 to a high of $3200, when questioned, I was advised they go by auction price.. A hoopdie car would fetch $500. The only person I would talk to there is Lawrence Curry, at least he tried to help, but unfortunately he is in the New Car side not Used Cars. Waste of Time!!! More

As a first time buyer who did the research of all the possible tips and tricks of car buying, and after going to 12 different dealerships, this was the most SKETCHIEST experience any consumer can possibly go through. So get this, I went in and negotiated the price of the car to where I wanted it to be and then the shadiness started to unfold. As soon as I brought up that I was already preapproved for a particular interest rate, this Shawn Leggett slim bag tries to show me a search that he did online to try and prove that I was lying about my pre approval, THEN, offered me zero percent interest and so I signed the paperwork and thought we had a deal, well get this, he calls 10 days later to say that he messed up and tried to jack up the interest rate and negate my deal. Go figure, sounds like the old "yoyo, spot delivery" scam. So I drove up there and complained and ask for the rebates that they took away to give me the zero interest and they refused and Shawn Leggett said "He has us right where he wants us, I'm out, unwind the deal" DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. THEY WILL TRY TO SCREW YOU ANY WAY THEY CAN. Shawn Leggett, you are going to be famous buddy. More

Lying, scamming sales people I was lied to repeatedly...the vehicle boasted upgraded features including navigation (which it did NOT have). When I asked if they would install it or lower the price to reflect their error, they said no. I had my own financing and they ran it through their multiple lenders without my permission. Howard Jung then came to me and told me my financing declined and he said he was going back to the finance manager to "fight for me". I picked up the phone and called my lender and they said my financing had NOT been declined. When one of the finance managers came out to speak to me, I immediately brought his blatant lie to her attention and she said he was confused. Because my income was good and I was approved with $0 down, they tried to add $2,000 (in addition to TTL) to cover their "dealer fees". They continued to make excuse after excuse until I was finally fed up and left. I was extremely upset after driving from McKinney to Irving (over an hour each way) to purchase the vehicle. I stopped by CarMax in Plano to see if they had a vehicle I liked and was treated very well. I purchased my vehicle in less than an hour with no hassle. Don't EVER shop at Westway Ford. More

After getting my car serviced this past weekend for a new battery, I was blatantly lied to over the phone by multiple service advisors that my car was “being diagnosed” and that it would be available to pick up soon. I then get a call that they cannot find my car on the dealership lot. I went 2+ days without my vehicle and it was all due to their incompetence and neglect. The poor service I received is unacceptable and I will never step foot in this dealership again. More

I was having a "detail" done that they "owed" me because when i leased the car it was not clean when i picked it up-the next day. So after having my car for 7 hours, i finally got it back, but it was till dirty. They did not "detail" anything. I will be posting pictures of my "detail" on all my social media accounts. THE DEALER OWNER IS TOP NOTCH. My truck was in the dealer for a warranty repair. There was a situation that happened at the dealership. I addressed it with the General Manager. He totally corrected the issue and did not stop until I was completely satisfied. I will be doing business with Westway Ford from now on. To know that if there is an issue the owner will take time to talk to you and discuss everything going on. There are very few places you can go to and actually sit down with the owners of the dealership. I could not of been more impressed with the way that I was treated at this dealership. I will definitely be doing business at Westway Ford from now on. More
