Never received a card from anyone at the dealership. James wrote on a card stock his phone number. 2. He and his manager were suppose to call to schedule the (Promised) rim repair 7/2/18 . Have not received a call. 3. During the initial little scratch sheet of the agreed upon price he dropped the price a few hundred on the car then came back showing me “Installed options” Tinted windows, wheel locks, Nitrogen in the tires” I’ve asked quite a few times for their internal service order for those items and have not received any response. (I strongly feel these items were already on the car. I could call the previous owner since their name is in the glove box to ask.) These were like $1200 in installed options and he dropped it a few hundred) I still want to see that original agreement sheet with my initials. They just got the car in and was changing the oil. 4. We then get to the finance department and he of course he has to show us all the additional warranty etc. that we declined repeatedly. For some reason he said the number we agreed upon with the sales manager he could do, and will throw in the Protective spray for the clear coat at $2.00. Something just did not add up with they either because he said it was free. 5. Our contracts show no signatures from your staff. Probably the worst experience in 50 years buying a car or at the least very shady. More
Horible Experience in Service Department To start my experience in the past purchasing from Westway has been pleasant, this review is against the crooked service department and Fords policy t To start my experience in the past purchasing from Westway has been pleasant, this review is against the crooked service department and Fords policy towards not providing loaner vehicles due to manufacturing problems of THEIR vehicle! Took our explorer here for recalls or s/b whatever you want to call it. 2 issues 1 with a door panel and 1 with the carbon monoxide entering the cabin. We were told to bring it by so they could look at the car and order parts that were needed and made to believe we would drop it off when the parts came in and provided a loaner. When she brought the vehicle by she was told that they were not in fact recalls and loaners wouldn't be covered, I find it hard to believe that an issue with carbon monoxide-entering the cabin isn't treated more seriously, imagine how many people might not bring their vehicles in due to the cost they have to absorb? She was then shown all the maintenance that was due for the vehicle having 60k miles totaling over $700. We asked how much a transmission flush would cost and was told $200 and that a loaner would be provided if we went that route. At this point the entire reason for bringing the vehicle in for a Ford issue was completely flipped back to the consumer. I have no respect and trust for Ford and this dealership or as I call stealership. Also worth mentioning is I have purchased 2 brand new vehicles from this dealership totaling over 80k, so if they treat me this way I can only imagine. It's sad that your treated like a number everywhere you go these days. Stay away from this dealership as they simply want to sell you on maintenance you may or may not need. More

Horrible place of business Worst dealership ever!!! Not enough staff to accommodate clientele. Anna was suppose to call me on april 2 as she told me my car was next in line to see what was wrong!! She never called back so i called april 3rd and spoke with steve and he said the mechanic is at lunch they will call me back well noone called me back so i called back two hours later anna then said the mechanic had a accident so he had to leave . So you telling me there is only one mechanic fixing on all the vehicles in your dealership. I also been asking for a loner vehicle and they are telling me they dont have one how can you not have one for 11 days!!! So Wednesday I called my warranty company as the dealership is horrible at communicating and to follow up with anything warranty said the dealership had just called them with the claim at 11:31am and that they will be sending a inspector out there in the next 24-48 hours anna gave them a phone number for the inspector to contact them at before they show Thursday comes the inspector calls the number anna provided as they have to call a hour before they show he called at 11:00am to be there at noon however no answer or callback so i found this out by contacting warrenty because speaking with anna she was saying the same thing i havent heard anything they havent called so Friday the inspector had to just show up however there was no technician to assist the inspector only the advisors and that is unacceptable as they are not mechanics so the inspector left and it left my claim in jeopardy... Saturday comes and Sundays comes then it’s Monday Tuesday claim was approved I called them to tell them no follow up I had to call them here it is Wednesday and anna still hasnt called the warranty to give the ok to ship the part so they can get it tomorrow and my car can get fix!!!! Please to leave a email to contact or a phone number i dont want anybody to ever have to go through this ever!!! Ive contacted corporate just now and Samantha Chatman with channel 5 news !!!! Unhappy customer I will never purchase a vehicle from Westway Ford again. In may of 2016 I purchased a Mercedes GLK350 from you guys. I was told there was equity in th I will never purchase a vehicle from Westway Ford again. In may of 2016 I purchased a Mercedes GLK350 from you guys. I was told there was equity in the car by James our sales man several times. He sold us the car knowing that the car fax report was going to play a major factor on us trying to trade in the car, but didn’t disclose that information to us. He kept telling us the car already had equity before it even sold. Even went so far as to tell us all we had to do was keep the car a year and the trade it in because of the equity that was in the car. I paid over 17,000 plus 24% interest on a car that is only worth 9,000 due to the car fax report. Trade in value of 5,000. Westway Ford sold a car for double the Value to a couple who was trying to rebuild their credit due to coming out of a bankruptcy, who came to your company in good faith. We hadn’t bought a car in over 10 years and this was how we were treated. We didn’t know the car fax report caused the decrease in value like it does. But James knew this and didn’t disclose this to us. He kept boasting about the equity that was in the car! I found about the trade in value back in July 2017, when we tried trade in the car, after working hard and making all the payments on time. So that we could get out from under the high interest rate. I was stunned when I was denied due to the value of the car based on the carfax report, not my credit. I’ve tried to talk to Mr Barton Hankins by leaving messages but he never returned my calls. I even brought the car back to your dealership to see if y’all would make this right. But to no avail. So I will never do business with Westway Ford. Your owner couldn’t/wouldn’t even contact a dissatisfied customer to make this right. I am stuck with a 2010 Mercedes GLK 350 that I can’t trade in due to the dishonesty that happened at your dealership. I’m extremely upside down due to what Westway Ford sold the vehicle for. That a car fax shows has structural damage. Even though there is no structural damage. James told us that car had been rear ended with the original owner, but that it had been repaired through the Mercedes dealership and that due to it being repaired the carfax report didn’t effect the value of the car. That was an out and out lie! The car should not ever had been priced at $17,000 due to this report. As a matter of fact I’ve been told that this car should not have been sold from your lot at all, and should have gone straight to auction. Due to the car fax report. So like I said James mislead us and it was wrong in every possible way. All I want to do is to trade this car in so that I can get out from under the high interest rate. And now I’m stuck. I’ve made every payment on time. So if your dealership want to make this right then work with me and make this right. Take this car back! Your web site says your dealership has integrity! Really? Where’s your integrity towards me to make this right? More

Going out there in the rain and cold and sitting there for approx. 2hrs. They had no decision. After asking to see the numbers several times, I was then advised I was only going to get $500 for my 2003 4Runner Sport loaded. Sure it has 186000 miles, but every appraisal site from KBB, NADA, Edmunds and Carfax gave a trade in value from a low of $1750 to a high of $3200, when questioned, I was advised they go by auction price.. A hoopdie car would fetch $500. The only person I would talk to there is Lawrence Curry, at least he tried to help, but unfortunately he is in the New Car side not Used Cars. Waste of Time!!! More

As a first time buyer who did the research of all the possible tips and tricks of car buying, and after going to 12 different dealerships, this was the most SKETCHIEST experience any consumer can possibly go through. So get this, I went in and negotiated the price of the car to where I wanted it to be and then the shadiness started to unfold. As soon as I brought up that I was already preapproved for a particular interest rate, this Shawn Leggett slim bag tries to show me a search that he did online to try and prove that I was lying about my pre approval, THEN, offered me zero percent interest and so I signed the paperwork and thought we had a deal, well get this, he calls 10 days later to say that he messed up and tried to jack up the interest rate and negate my deal. Go figure, sounds like the old "yoyo, spot delivery" scam. So I drove up there and complained and ask for the rebates that they took away to give me the zero interest and they refused and Shawn Leggett said "He has us right where he wants us, I'm out, unwind the deal" DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. THEY WILL TRY TO SCREW YOU ANY WAY THEY CAN. Shawn Leggett, you are going to be famous buddy. More
