I have communicated my concerns to the State licensing department for commercial automotive dealers and have copied them in this email for reference as this is required in the formal complaint process. I had an unpleasant experience when my vehicle was brought into service on 04/23. It remained there until 12/30/23. After I picked up the vehicle on 12/30/23, the check engine lights came on after two hours. I took pictures of the lights and sent them to the service advisor's cell. I received a call from the service advisor on 01/02 Tuesday and informed them of the problems I was experiencing. They suggested I take it to another dealership, but I refused as I wanted Westway to fix the problem since they last serviced my vehicle. I was informed that my warranty had expired since 09/11/23. I asked why I wasn't notified of this and was told that the service department had done everything they were supposed to do. I asked to speak to the manager of the service department, and I was directed to the finance department. Essentially because the vehicle had been in service for over 8 months which the warranty had expired. Shawn said finance could extend my warranty, so I spoke to Mrs. Angel Noguez in finance, who told me that the service department had lied to me and that they had no control over the warranty. She advised me to call the mechanical protection plan (MPP). I called (MPP) and spoke to a representative named Robert, who informed me that my labor was still covered under the warranty and that the service department needed to diagnose the problem to determine if it was a mechanical error or human error. I tried calling Shawn who is in the service department to communicate this to him, but he has not returned my calls at any time. I visited the dealership and expressed my frustration and concerns to Shawn, who lied to me, saying he would send a tow truck to pick up my vehicle for repairs since the vehicle is inoperable. He said I should expect it on Monday or Tuesday of this week, but I have not received any calls or texts, and it's already Wednesday. I am trying to handle this situation as diplomatically as possible. However, if I don't receive any response, I will escalate this matter further by making this public on all social media platforms and other appropriate channels. More

Within the last month, I've been sold a car with dangerously overinflated tires, and the check engine light came on 2 weeks after purchase. After multiple attempts to reach out to Westway for assistance via phone, in person visits, and emails, they have either not responded or given me answers that any legitimate mechanic would find laughable. I discussed my concerns with Melina Gonzalez and Kyle Wenzel in person multiple times, and reached out to Dustin Egbers and Azalia Nava via email, and received no response from either. After receiving no support from the dealership, I took the car to an independent mechanic, who has estimated it will be at least $1000 to fix the issues with the car I just spent $17K on after Westway assured me that it was safe and in good working condition. I cannot emphasize how much I would caution anyone against buying a car here. My experience has been horrible, and Westway has made no effort to correct the issues caused by their oversight and negligence. Customer service/support here is nonexistent as soon as you write them a check, go anywhere else. More
Worse Experience ever, they made me drive from Houston just to close the door of the building in my face, even though, I was in constant communication on my arrival time to the dealer. This is not serious just to close the door of the building in my face, even though, I was in constant communication on my arrival time to the dealer. This is not serious people to work with. More
First, the $2995 "DEALER PREP" fee was only disclosed with the final offer and pricing paperwork. Second, the bed of the pickup had holes/tears in it that were not clearly visible in the supplied online with the final offer and pricing paperwork. I was in the process of buying a car. They had me sign a contract and begin financing. they needed proof of income, or they would raise the interest rate. I provided it for them when I go They had me sign a contract and begin financing. they needed proof of income, or they would raise the interest rate. I provided it for them when I got home. Then, they sold the car to someone else on my return trip to pick up the car. They also raised the price from the Internet price, claiming restoration efforts were not included in the price. Still, when I filled out the online financing information, it did not show this additional cost in the advertised price. I found them to be the most dishonest dealership in my experience. Do not shop here for your next car. They will, in my opinion, cheat you in every way possible. More
Come in with 0 expectations and you will not be disappointed. Only reason we came to this dealership is because they had what we were looking for. We saw they had horrible reviews but took a chanc disappointed. Only reason we came to this dealership is because they had what we were looking for. We saw they had horrible reviews but took a chance. Well reviews were all on point. Initially we called, confirmed they still had the car, made appointment, left work early to make it in time to se/test drive the car. Once there they tried to get us to do credit app before even looking at car. We said no just wanted to see car first. 2 hrs later they come and tell us they can't find keys. We left, sales person did not care. Next day 2 or 3 sales managers/reps called us apologizing asking us to come back in. We did. We did buy the car. As far as the car price it could have been better. Financing rate wasn't horrible. But the sales rep and managers they feed you a bunch of crap. They tell you what you want to hear and as soon as you sign the paperwork it all becomes excuses and miss understanding. There were some issues with the car that we pointed out before signing contract. Sales rep guaranteed to fix them before we took car. He said anything that came up during 30 days they would fix. They kept for days after all paper work was done and they half a$$ fixed it but still had issues. We then had to make arrangements to bring car back in and that's where the bigger nightmare started. They were not returning calls, avoiding us. Eventually took car back they took a really long time and we got it back with new issues. At this point I did not feel comfortable taking car back to them. They sold us the MPP protection program. They explain what a great deal the MPP plan is which has 0 deductible if you take it to the dealership or $100.00 at any other certified location. Well taking it back to the dealership is out of the question since they are too busy to work on a car and honestly they are not trustworthy. So there is that. When we did the finance park the lady was OK but talked to fast and rushed through everything. Our contract was kept and we did not receive a copy when we left. She said we would get it after we emailed some missing docs. This is after our financing went through and our deposit was done. I had to call, email and text daily to eventually 7 days later get my contract via email. By them keeping my contract i basically lost the right/opportunity to read the contract at home and change my mind if I wanted to. and it turns out a mistake was done and I had to get a new contract and that took another few days. I have bought many cars new and used. I 'm familiar with dealerships and their tactics. But honestly this dealership definitely a big disappointment. We all expect some of the bull crap coming in and know buying a car is a head ache. But for me the sales reps/managers were all pretty much the same. Just bad customer service and a lot of lies. We know we buy cars as is, we all over pay some times but this dealership is over the top. I'm sure if I report to FTC what happened with my contract they will definitely have some thing to say about that. I haven't even made my first car payment yet and I already have an appointment with mechanic tomorrow. Not even sure if the MPP that I bought will even "cover". I would say that if you must buy here, be prepared and get everything in writing. Come in with 0 expectations and you will not be disappointed. Negotiate, negotiate because their add-on prices are insane. Good luck ... My sales rep was Albert and Used car manager Ray....... More
My worst ever used car shopping experience. They were deceptive and dishonest. I was sold a Lemon never gave me a copy of the so called 172 point safety inspection the salesman claimed they do. They were deceptive and dishonest. I was sold a Lemon never gave me a copy of the so called 172 point safety inspection the salesman claimed they do. Been frustrating dealing with a bunch of young kids running a huge car dealership and now real knowledge or Customer Service Skills. Upper Management is hard to contact, they want give out their number or even have them to return your call. I was given the cold shoulder treatment once I demanded the Lemon Car they sold me be repaired. Please take your car business elsewhere and save your Hard Earned Money and being very frustrated and disappointed. More
