Saw a 2021 Ford Bronco in stock listed at $41k, This was at list price on a high demand vehicle so I was suspicious and waiting for the other shoe. Talked with a internet salesperson for over a week before at list price on a high demand vehicle so I was suspicious and waiting for the other shoe. Talked with a internet salesperson for over a week before going to the dealership to see about buying the vehicle. After looking over the vehicle and doing some paperwork, got to test drive the vehicle. While on this test drive the sales rep casually drops the other shoe and WHAT A SHOE it was, The dealership had a premium on top of the listed price of $20,000 to $25,000. But that amount was "negotiable", well Westway ""negotiated" themselves out of a sale and any business from my family forever. More
Still waiting on my car title that the sales person got illegally from my bank. We agreed not to press charges if they just mailed it to us immediately. This was in May. Where's my title? I'm writing this review 30 days after purchasing a used car. During this time I could have given them anywhere between 1 star and 5, depending on the day, but looking back at the experience as a whole I l car. During this time I could have given them anywhere between 1 star and 5, depending on the day, but looking back at the experience as a whole I landed on 2 stars. I'll start with the good. Keith worked with me the entire time with a smile on his face. He was very respectful and an overall good guy. Unfortunately he is low on the totem pole and when it comes to having the authority to actually get anything meaningful done his hands are tied. I feel for him and at times you could sense the frustration in him that he couldn't do more for me. They were also willing to negotiate, which I appreciate. Now the bad...the advertised price online is NOT the actual price. They tack on fees to prep the car for sale, and also try to add more. I'm used to upselling and just say no however the prep fee seemed ridiculous. Shouldn't they prep it before listing it for sale? During the negotiations they mentioned they were upside down taking the car in as a trade and later on when I went over the Carfax I found out they purchased the car at auction so that was a blatant lie. They also guaranteed me they would fix any issues with the car within 30 days. I took the car in 3-4 times and they had it for more than half of the 1st 30 days. Every time I went back to pick it up they did the absolute bare minimum to fix the issues and in most cases they told me they couldn't find anything wrong, even though it was obvious things that I pointed out like lights not working, a broken latch on a seat, etc. It's clear to me that after the sale they could care less about you, which is unfortunate because I will eventually have 6 driver's in my house and would think they would want to impress for future business. Overall go here if you want but take your sweet time test driving and get everything in writing at the time of sale that you want fixed. If it is an expensive purchase you may also benefit from having a lawyer go over the contract before signing. More
I brought a 2018 F250 that I purchased at this dealer in 2018 to trade in on a new truck and had a letter in my hand saying they could get me into a new truck for a reduced payment. Well, they tried to sell 2018 to trade in on a new truck and had a letter in my hand saying they could get me into a new truck for a reduced payment. Well, they tried to sell me a “ used” truck that already had damage. I was willing to “ downgrade”to a F150 and they “ beat the bush” about it. And then wanted me to furnish “ proof of residence “ while being financed by the same financial firm ( ford motor credit). Well, I canceled the deal and now I refuse to ever do business with Westway ford ever. If you send me a letter, you either follow it, or consider yourself done with me ! More
Where is the 0 star option. Sleazy typical car dealer tactics. Bait and switch. List a car for sale for 56k. Set up coming in to finance after an hour drive and they try to mark it up over their listed p tactics. Bait and switch. List a car for sale for 56k. Set up coming in to finance after an hour drive and they try to mark it up over their listed price by 15k. I walked out steaming. Wasted my time, my gas money. Save yourself the hassle and steer as far away from these guys as possible. This includes the finance manager and the employee of the month Vlad. More
Bait and switch dealer, do not go here for any reason. They make up “market adjustments” which change daily, yet are generally $15-$20k OVER the MSRP. Choose any other local dealer. The MSRP was the listed price online. I called and spoke with Austin several time and we also texted back and forth. I set up and appointment time and I drove over an hour only to be told that the mark up o with Austin several time and we also texted back and forth. I set up and appointment time and I drove over an hour only to be told that the mark up of the New F 350 Super Duty on an average was 15 to 20 thousand dollar, because of the chip shortage. There was also an itemized list, that he stated that they add these upgrades to all of their vehicles. I have no problem with a mark up, however I do have a problem when someone advertise something deceptively and waste my time, by have me insulted with an advertised price of $65,500 and I get there and you are now telling me my walk out price is now over $97,000. This is horrible and discredits Ford as whole. More
Bait and switch. Very difficult experience. Found vehicle online that was priced well. When I wanted to move forward with the purchase they surprised me with a $3,495 "prep" fee. I have never seen vehicle online that was priced well. When I wanted to move forward with the purchase they surprised me with a $3,495 "prep" fee. I have never seen a 'prep fee' exceed $1000. They wouldn't below $3,000. Felt very misled. They lost the deal.... More
I bought a used vehicle from westway Ford and took it to the lexsus dealership for a recall, they told me I needed a strut on the front passenger side and I had a bubble in my tire same side, and my spark p the lexsus dealership for a recall, they told me I needed a strut on the front passenger side and I had a bubble in my tire same side, and my spark plugs hadn't never been changed, contacted westway Ford and spoke to a manager in used cars, he told me i should have checked the car before I left, mind you I am a female, and they told me my vehicle before I bought it went through service and was in tip top shape, this was within 2 weeks of purchasing this vehicle, he was very rude and rushed me off the phone, a lesson learned as a female, I'll never buy another vehicle from westway Ford thanks to used cars management.
