Review is for Sunnyside Toyota COLLISION center, as I have the most experience with them. Sunnyside Toyota, 27000 Lorain Rd. North Olmsted, OH 44070 Absolute THE WORST "repair" body shop. If the have the most experience with them. Sunnyside Toyota, 27000 Lorain Rd. North Olmsted, OH 44070 Absolute THE WORST "repair" body shop. If there was an award for how crappy their service and work is done, they would get it every year in a row. Chris Schick (Shick- sp?) was the representative who handled my claim. Besides his arrogance, I decided to take my high end Toyota for some work to be done to the body. Synopsis of events: 1) I stopped by the shop after hours just to check on the progress of my car after work. I saw that they put long sharp metal parts on to my leather, leaving marks on it, and the entire black interior was left with shop dust, AND THE CAR WAS UNLOCKED, so I locked it. 2) Picked up my car. Chris did not happen to be there that day I picked it up, so another service person (who had called me) told me my car is ready. I went to pick it up after work right at closing time (6pm), so it was at sunset. 3) The next day, my fiance and I went to go put some air in the tires before going out for the day, and right next to the tires, I see all these scratches from the damage on the panel closes to the pass. tire! (part of the reason why I took it in the first place!) So I immediately take it to Chris at Sunnyside Toyota Collision. I also noticed that many screws were loose as well, so this Chris character hand tightens the bolts (hilarious). They didn't clean up the dust from the work so I told them to do so. They partially (again) cleaned it up. But I did the rest. 4) So then they admit my car for more work. I get it back. Fine, I think I'm done with this place right? WRONG, WRONG! I'm washing my car a few days later, and notice that my pass rear bumper is MOVING when i'm applying pressure to it. I note that many screws are missing from that area. Then, I notice that these special screws that toyota uses for the indoor panel were not put in, and just left unbolted. AND i noticed that a few rear pass molding were left loose, and that I can put it back into place with pressure of my hands (I guess sunnyside should pay me for doing their work). 5) So then I take it back. They order the screws and I then also note that my interior panels were dented by them (ugh). 6) To top if all off, this Chris character drives my car roughly from my parking spot to their car garage...and when I pick it up, it has MORE miles (about 5) then when I dropped it off. A joy ride? All in all, THE most horrible experience with them. I usually take my business down the street to Stemmers auto collision on Lorain Rd, North Olmsted, but he was pretty busy that week and I needed my car. I will wait if I have to next time, because it is not worth the frustration of sunnyside toyota collision charging an arm and a leg for a pinky's worth of work. And to top if all off, Derek, the manager, seemed not to care much nor did I get an apology from anyone, but of course, it fits their work, so it wasn't expected. The funny part is that my buddy with a 2000 Camry had his bumper replaced a few years ago, and they used a cheap aftermarket with cheap paint, and now his bumped is half yellow and half painted (maroon), so it looks like a crappy car now, even though it was nice before it went into sunnyside collision). Please learn from my experience guys...stay away from these people if you want quality work. They cut so many corners that it is pathetic. More
Sunnyside is great, from the sales staff to the mechanics. They treat you wonderful and bend over backwards to help and please you. I would not even think of going to another Toyota dealership. I especially want to commend Ed Stein for his professionalism and customer care. He is truly a plus for Sunnyside Toyota. I would not hesitate to recommend Toyota and this dealership to my relatives and friends due to the excellent service and overall experience. In fact, I referred my sister there last year and she purchased a 2009 Venza from this dealership and is very pleased with everything. David Benning More
Excellent dealership. Very professional and knowledgeable staff! The salesperson Bruce Jackson was vry helpful. He knew all the features of the Prius IV vehicle that we were interested in and he demonstrated staff! The salesperson Bruce Jackson was vry helpful. He knew all the features of the Prius IV vehicle that we were interested in and he demonstrated them with enthusiasm and professionalism. He was not pushy, yet answered all our questions. The dealership was clean and very inviting. They had a lot of vehicles to choose from. We would definately recommend this dealership and salesperson. Once we purchased the finance manager, Ken Proctor was also professional. As the last touch the sales manager, Charlie Saranita introduced himself and congratulated us on our purchase. Nice touch! My first purchase was a 2001 Avalon which I just now (March 2010) traded in for a 2010 Avalon after 179,000 miles. The 2001 was serviced at this dealer almost exclusively. The salesman (Drew) was infinitely patient during the sales process which is especially noteworthy as my spouse is the "tire kicker" from hell. The process couldn't have been smoother or less stressful. More
Very frindly - worked with us -- we recently completed our third and fourth car purchases from sunnyside Toyota in eight years. We talked to Sunnyside three times over four months and the politely followed up but never pressured us. Sunnyside offered the car we wanted at a fair price and talked to us like people. We talked to two other dealerships as well. The experience was night and day. The other two dealerships tried to strong-arm us into buying on the spot. One of the other dealerships even "lost" the keys to our trade-in and continued to try to sell us while they looked for them. I won't buy cars anywhere else More
We bought a Corolla here last year and decided to upgrade to a Corolla LE--we were treated very well by both salesman, Carlos Pena and credit person, Roger Hagan - last year we didn't feel very good after de to a Corolla LE--we were treated very well by both salesman, Carlos Pena and credit person, Roger Hagan - last year we didn't feel very good after dealing with the female credit person and were actually glad not to have to tangle with her again. Both Carolos and Roger are friendly, but very professional and they know their products well. We are pleased again to have financing through Toyota Financial as we did with our first Toyota bought at same dealership 7 years ago. At that time were went to see about Saturns and the salesman there, Anthony Hitchens, said perhaps we'd be more interested seeing a Toyota since the Saturn didn't suit our needs. He too was a professional and didn't try to talk us into anything we didn't want or need. Being older and retired we appreciate the courtesy shown us and the careful explanation of things. More
I have been dealing with this dealership since I had bought my first Camry in 1991 and have had tham do all necessary service on my second 2003 Camry. I have nothing but the best to say about them, prof bought my first Camry in 1991 and have had tham do all necessary service on my second 2003 Camry. I have nothing but the best to say about them, professional, helpful, willing to listen and settle any problems I may have with them. Their service is always done timely and they have never pushed any work that was not necessary. I feel the dealership is honest and to me that is an important asset in doing business today. Thanks to all the employees who have handled my car and I am looking forward to purchasing another Camry in the future. I LOVE MY CAMRY. More
Had a great experience leasing my new Rav 4. Attentive service by Carlos who listened and responded to my requests rather than pushing a canned speel or trying to get blood of this turnip. I have given such high ratings as they are deserved. I have had occasion to have my daughter and ex wifes vehicles as well as my own require collision services in 09. Rotten luck. As you are well aware, a have had occasion to have my daughter and ex wifes vehicles as well as my own require collision services in 09. Rotten luck. As you are well aware, auto accidents and deer strikes are no fun. From the top down, all Sunnyside employees were super. Work was excellant, on time and communication superior. I hope I never have to visit a collision center again, but, if I do, it will be sunnyside Jimmy B More
