I cannot be more happier with the service I received from Dominic and Bob. I live over an hour away from the dealership, but they treated me like I was a neighbor. Though I could not look at the car myself, my son and his 2 friends went to look at the car. My son and 1 of his friends are mechanics and Dominic let them examine the car for several hours - even allowing the car to be put on a lift!! My son came back and was very impressed with Dominic and how nice he was. When I picked up the car Dominic was very nice and pleasant to work with. Although I never got to meet Bob, the conversions I had with him were great. Both Dominic and Bob made the purchase of the car a great experience and I would highly recommend them!! I've been a Toyota customer for 6 years. My family members have been customers for decades. Up until yesterday, I had a good experience. My lease is ending and I was lukewarm on leasing another Toyo members have been customers for decades. Up until yesterday, I had a good experience. My lease is ending and I was lukewarm on leasing another Toyota based solely on price. I was given inaccurate information about having my vehicle inspected before the lease end date. I was informed that I was to make an appointment at the dealership for an inspection that was to take less than 30 minutes. I made the appointment on a Sunday, got a babysitter for my child, and made it to the appointment on time. I was greeted by a Manager at the guest services desk who didn't ask my name or nature of my visit. When I explained why I was there he basically said there was nothing he could do, the vehicle was NOT to be inspected by the dealership. I explained that I was told that I had to make an appointment, have the car inspected, etc. Still - nothing. Hardly an apology, no sorry for the inconvenience, just an attitiude. When I pulled up the confirmation e-mail on my phone, he still didn't try to rectify the situation. The overall tone of the experience was "oh well, you're out of luck." I told him the person's name I spoke with and he said "she's not here, and I am catching the brunt of your scowling." I was and am furious at the way I was treated. Nonchalant, noncommital, thoughtless, disrespectful and rude. The worst level of customer service. The behavior of the "Manager" I dealt with has cemented my decision not to lease or buy a vehicle from Toyota. I will never patronize Sunnyside Toyota again. I am looking forward to turning my lease in in the coming week. More
Greg Vandersommen was my salesmen my Wife and I have been looking for a van for over a year and Greg had one that had just hit the lot he made the deal so easy and was very well informed on the Honda Odyssey looking for a van for over a year and Greg had one that had just hit the lot he made the deal so easy and was very well informed on the Honda Odyssey we bought. Pulled in for an oil change one guy working one auto in bay. Your employee did not acknowledge I was even in the bay. After 5 or so minutes he walked over and I said I just needed an oil change. He said "they" told him it would be a hundred and half. I said sure playing along with whatever he was meaning. Then I said no seriously I just want the Coupon oil change. He said ya it will be an hour and half to get to it. I said, "I thought I remember Sunny having a no appointment oil change plan". At that he said, " hey we are busy here we have 60 to 80 people a day going through here and they dropped that program a long time ago". I said well then no thanks and was forced to back out of the bay and got tangled up with the high curbs and drop offs when trying to back out and turn around in the apron leading to the service write up area. I felt very disapointed and could not believe the attitude. I was also there for an other reason and that was to get an explanation of pricing on parts I had purchased two weeks before. I needed front brake rotors and pads before I was leaving on a 2000 mile trip and wanted Toyota parts. Called and got prices on the phone which were in line with other Toyota parts. I had a discount coupon that was 15% off. I did not look at the invoice details until after I got from our trip when I matched it up with my notes. I felt really disappointed. I tried to get somebody at the parts window for over five minutes and again no one acknowledged I was standing there. Very frustrating dealing with Sunnyside. More
