Due to the economy over the past several years our credit has suffered but that did not change the experience we had buying a car at Sunnyside. We were not made to feel less adequate because of our credit, John, Bob and Ken were knowledgeable, helpful, provided great customer service and didnt seem to mind that we kept them there after closing time on a Friday. Typically buying a car is a long drawn out process... We were able to find the car we wanted online and were confident brcause thier webpage does a great job of showing you the vehicles without having to drive around lot after lot. We began with the credit app online and once we came into the dealership we were in and out with our new car in less than 2 1/2 hours. The dealership itself is very comfortable with a kids room (very neatly kept with books, games and videos) that kept our 6 year old content throughout the process (they also have a video game room for the older kids), lots of room to sit or move around with out feeling crowded and all of the staff was pleasant. We will absolutely return to Sunnyside Toyota in a year and a half when our son turns 16. Hope to see John, Bob and Ken there! More

They did not have a van that met our budget; however, he called his associate at their Honda store, discussed availablity, and helped us find the right van, at the right price. Last month, we decided to find a more fuel efficient vehicle to replace my SUV since my new job requires 100 miles of driving daily. I called him and he remembered my wife and I. He asked me about my needs and preferences and asked that we give him a few days. 3 days later he called us and advised he found the perfect car for our budget. Normally they were only open until 6 on Fridays, but knowing I was in a jam, Bob stayed late, showed us the car, and signed us up so that I had transportation to get to work Saturday morning. The vehicle was exactly as described, fit our budget, and I didn't need to take any time off from work. We have always purchased our vehicles from private owners, mostly through Craigslist with little success. Our neighbors recommended we contact Bob Murray at Sunnyside Toyota, and he exceeded our expectations. When we need to replace our vehicles down the road, there will be only one option - Bob Murray & Sunnyside Toyota! More
The WORST service experience ever. We've been frequent customers at Sunnyside because it was close to home and not horrible-- that is until we took our Prius in for an oil change. We got the car back and we broke down 20 miles later. We returned to Sunnyside and they said it was due to overfilling the oil. We drove away a little nervous and the car wasn't quite the same. 3 days later we broke down again and are now being told its $5K to fix. Sunnyside will take no responsibility at all. The service director says its all a coincidence. We'll never go back there. More

I knew what vehicle I wanted and Sunnyside worked w/ me to find that car. Kendyl Frye was excellent in customer relationship building and openness & honesty. She let me know that to get that car, it would have to be ordered from the factory and I would have to wait. She was great to talk with and went the extra mile to make sure that I had all the information and was kept informed along the way. Brian Slover was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. He made sure I understood all features of the car I was buying and how they worked. He not only was friendly but made me feel comfortable that he had both mine and the dealerships interest at heart. The paperwork was painless. Ken Proctor was a pleasure to work with. He had all the paperwork ready before I arrived and made the whole stressful event as smooth as possible. I was shown much courtesy by the entire staff during the buying process. I left feeling that I was a friend of the dealership not just another sale for them. Overall it was a great experience and would not hesitate to go back when I get ready to purchase another vehicle. I love the terra cotta interior on my new RAV4. It was worth the wait! More

Right away on arriving, we were really basically rushed in to take a test drive and evaluate our trade in (since they were closing in an hour...) We explained that with little time to make a decision, as we would in any case, I would like to drive the van home so my wife could see it herself. "Take home" test drives have never been an issue with ANY other dealer and to me makes or breaks the deal right up front...I refuse to spend thousands of dollars based on a 5 minute runaround the block. Seriously. So right there..we drove an hour and over 50 miles worth of gas only to be told we were stuck there..per "policy" and cannot drive it home. Upon actually viewing the van, I was amazed!! (..at how DIRTY, dinged and scuffed it was for being a supposedly "Certified" Toyota vehicle.) They should be ashamed of the condition they were selling this van in. When we got back from the test drive, they presented us their 'offer' for the van, a low ball trade, and ridiculous fees and charges they try to add on.."Opt. Gap and Tire Fee.." for an additional $1000!?? Someone else will fall for this place, but Im glad we didn't. There are many other dealers out there. More

My husband and I filled an online credit app on a Thursday late afternoon, by 7ish that night Bob Murray sent us an e-mail telling us we were approved! We had not so good credit but he was able to get us approved. He also looked at some vehicles in our range and sent us an email about each vehicle and our monthly payment. We went to the dealership on Saturday and Al (Big Al) as my son calls him was there to help us with our test drive. It was a horrible Saturday weather wise but Al was very pleasant and even bought us pizza!!! Thanks again Al! The experience that Bob has with people who do have credit problems is GREAT. His personality is really great he is funny and made our car buying experience EASY, PLEASANT AND PLEASURABLE. I would and will recommend this dealership to anyone who needs a breath of fresh air with their car buying experience. I called ahead to check on the availability of a used car I saw online. I wanted to set an appointment to test drive the car and I was very specific about which car I was calling about (year, color and price I saw online. Bruce told me the car was available and to come in for a test drive. I drove 45 miles only to find out he was busy and couldn't help me so a manager stepped in to help except the car I called about was not there. They then tried to show me the same car only a year newer and of course for more money. Wasted an afternoon and put 90+ unnecessary miles on my vehicle. I won't be returning to this dealership. More
The day before Thanksgiving I happen to get a nail in my tire. With it being cold and snowing I needed to take care of this ASAP. Went to four different places to get it plugged and I was told that it will tire. With it being cold and snowing I needed to take care of this ASAP. Went to four different places to get it plugged and I was told that it will be Friday-Saturday before it could be taken care of. I decided to give Sunnyside a call. The dealer where the truck was purchased.. I wanted to make a appointment and even though they was booked for the day.. The service person told me to come in and they will fit me in.. Here it turns out that the tire couldnt be plugged because the nail was in the side of the tire. They had the same brand tires in stock and I purchased and was in and out about one hour.. Thank You Sunnyside for helping me out before the holidays. They have such a great team at this dealership.. I recommend sales and service to all that is searching for a reliable facility. Merry Christmas. More
