I’ve brought it in 4 times now, and only because a toyota engineer was on site for a different car The clock On my 2018 Camry gains a minute a month. I’ve brought it in 4 times now, and only because a toyota engineer was on site for a different car that day, did they make a case report for me. The issue is a complaint by many other 2018 Camry owners online. The final ‘solution’ given to me was that it is a software issue and I just have to deal with it and reset it each month. I feel that’s un acceptable. For what our car costs we should have a working clock. Christine has helped me several times and is great to work with. Chuck was informative, but told me that Toyota would call me if and when they come up with a solution. When I talked to his manager to get some sort of timeline to expect a reply, he told me toyota would never call me and to check back in a few months. The shuttle service also needs an improvement. The vans and the drivers are fantastic, but coordinating a ride is a very frustrating endeavor. The last 2 times, my car was finished and the service manager asked me if they could call back in at few minutes’ then I was left in limbo for 2-4 hours. When I would call back after an hour I would only get their voicemail, with no reply. Last time the call operator felt bad for me and kept calling Chuck until he answered. By then it had been about 3.5 hrs since he told me he’d get back to me in a few minutes. I understand the vans are limited and they may have a far run, but a little communication to tell the customer that info, would alleviate a lot of frustration. My visit this summer I was one of the 5 people stuck in that loop and the when I got there I waited over 30 minutes for them to bring me my car, I had even requested no car wash, so there was really no excuse. Hope this helps with improving the last few steps in the service chain. More
