I've owned different luxury cars and been to different luxury car dealerships in Houston area for services. Westside Lexus is by far the worst experience. Service advisor Escobar was apathetic, didn't exp luxury car dealerships in Houston area for services. Westside Lexus is by far the worst experience. Service advisor Escobar was apathetic, didn't explain what it was repaired but said car was okay after the repair. When it required a second attention, he took the key and drove back to the shop without saying anything. The experience could've been a lot better. Westside Lexus should learn from other dealership like Sewell in terms of what excellent customer service really means. More

However, I noticed on pickup, after an overnight stay, that the car was much dirtier than I left it. I didn't think much of it until I was cleaning the car this evening for a road trip tomorrow. There is an overspray over the entire vehicle. I am leaving early tomorrow AM and now I'm upset! The car is always garaged at home and kept in immaculate condition. This the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back! So now I am going to vent! . . . 3/20/19 . . . Shopping for a Lexus RX 350 with all wheel drive, I finally locate one at Westside Lexus. I visit a much closer Lexus dealer to see if they can move the vehicle for sale. They requested a sizable downpayment to move the vehicle so I just drove to Westside to deal with them. There was a "0" percent interest rate incentive so I was prepared to purchase with large down payment and finance the balance. The salesman was John Loving and he suggested a "paid full" lease with three years "no service cost" as an incentive. He even specifically mentioned that tires were covered should we need a replacement. Reluctantly, I was convinced to sign a lease with the balance purchase price contracted. Extremely pleased with the vehicle, as it was the first actually nice vehicle we've had after 47 years of marriage. 09/24/19 . . . Vehicle milage was 1,782 miles. Excellent service! Feeling good about Lexus! 05/13/20 . . . Vehicle milage was 5,113 miles. Again, excellent service! Really feeling good about Westside Lexus! 09/24/20 . . . Safety recall service! Vehicle milage was 6,413 miles. Delivered the vehicle for service approximately 7:15 am. Arrangements had been made to provide a loaner and pick up the vehicle the following day. Using the loaner vehicle, I return home to later find a phone message about the service tech noticing a nail in the right front tire shoulder and would cost approx. $315.00. I returned the call to explain that I had no alarms indicating a tire problem when I drove into the service center so I was being caught by surprise for the expense. I remembered the salesman saying that tires were covered under the lease. I spoke to Laura about that and asked if she had a copy of the lease handy. She did but she said that I had not purchased that option. Ok, now I'm getting a bad feeling about this because the salesman did not indicate it was an option to the lease. As I gather my thoughts it occurred to me that the dealership was offering special pricing for, of all things, . . . Tires. I saw the flyer on the tables in the waiting area and the loaner vehicle even had a flyer in the glove compartment latch. Needless to say, the thought did cross my mind that I may be getting "played." I even thought that since I had no warning light upon delivering the car for service, and a tire promo was in play was there really a nail?" Helplessly, I tell Laura I had no choice but to replace the tire and authorized her to proceed. To top it off, Laura then informs me that the price of the tire did include "2 yr's road hazard" insurance. Now I am definitely thinking "This can't be right." I bite my tongue, and keep my thoughts to myself. She ended the phone call informing me the car would be ready in about an hour. Again, I'm caught off guard because I was told it would take all day. When I asked about the scheduled Auto Butler, Laura said I would have do that at a later date because I just had it done in May. Dirty from yard work, I decided to wait until the following day to pick up the car. Arrived around 7:30 am to return the loaner and I had to wait while my vehicle was brought into the service bay area. I immediately noticed it was much dirtier than when I left it the day before. I actually had to use the wipers for both, the front and real window to see properly. I washed the vehicle< by hand, when I got home in my driveway and parked the vehicle in the garage. It wasn't until this evening that my wife noticed the overspray while prepping for our trip tomorrow. I am slow to anger, but now I am definitely angry. I am hoping that someone, reading this may actually understand my anger with this service trip to West Side Lexus and contact me regarding steps to correct the overspray on my vehicle and assure me that I do not need to seek another service center. Very expensive for work done. Last time I will use Westside for service. Oil change cost twice as much as my 2018 Ford F-250 diesel. I wish I could make as much in labor as they do. Quoted a repair, then sait it was for a different part. After 45 minutes, still no quote but they had plenty of time to quote a new set of tires, new windshield and an alignment.
