The only complaint I have in the process was that when I went to Finance, I was presented with the option of 2 different extended warranties. These might make sense because I bought a 2004 Lexus with 90,000 went to Finance, I was presented with the option of 2 different extended warranties. These might make sense because I bought a 2004 Lexus with 90,000 miles. But it was presented as something I had to decide on right then while I was signing all the paperwork [note: I am not complaining about the actual person who did this because this is probably the way it is always handled]. Up to that point Westside had been respectful of my time and intelligence but I found this offensive in the sense of being a "high pressure" type maneuver. I was there over lunch and had a busy business day (I am an energy company attorney) so even when Shekhar called Finance and found out I had 24 hours to decide, I was not able to take any action on this. I would have liked to have known about the options with a couple of days to decide. I would have liked to have discussed it with Fred Hernandez who will now be my service advisor (but I didn't know that at the time). In fact, use of my dissatisfaction in how this aspect was handled, could I have the opportunity to talk about this with Fred and make a decision? If not I want to recommend that Westside handle this differently as it was the only blemish on what was overall a very pleasant and customer-oriented experience. More
