Customer for life and sending my friends! After nearly 6 dealerships and 3 days of searching for finding myself the vehicle that I would be interested in purchasing in the coming month I stumbled across Westshore Honda and found a great dealership and staff. I came out looking under-dressed and in a slightly dirty vehicle not looking like someone that would be walking in to be ready to purchase a car and had been treated like that upon a couple other visits of the day. I parked, exited my vehicle to to a gathering of associates, to which it seemed was going to be the same run of the mill of me searching for someone that wanted to give me the time of the day. Well 10 steps into my thought of here we go again (unknown to me until after we did my initial discovery of what brought me in) the manager in the crows quickly and warmly greeted me and invited me in to where he then introduced himself and told me he would bring me "one of his best" team members. To which is when I met Elias, who was very attentive and truly listened to exactly what I was looking for, it was after much deliberation that it did not seem they may have a vehicle that was going to fit my specific wants on lot or within a reasonable distance at this time. Elias then made one final request to the Manager desk to sour deep in to see if something would work. They had found me an absolute gem of a '19 model year that was traded back in after only 50 miles. Before we walked out to take a look Elias very earnestly and without a pressure approach told me they found this car that really did not hit some of my wants and I was not looking at a new '19 model year it may be worth a look. During this visit it was clear to me after a vast internet search and 6 dealerships that trying to find what I wanted in a pre-owned vehicle of this style was going to be nearly like a needle in a hay stack. Off for a testdrive we went, talking over a good portion of the new features I wanted on the top of the line '16 were now standard on the '19 model year and him bringing up the concerns I had about it not having the features I wanted and wanted to make sure I was comfortable if I was to make a decision. Back into the dealership and It was time for numbers games, of course as always there is some back and forth as we worked out the numbers to make all parties achieve the perfect deal for me. Myself getting the best deal, the dealership making their sale, and the package deal being good enough for the bank to accept. Always the most frustrating part of the deal, both the sales team and the finance associate I worked with took the time to repeat and reassure and put up with my indecision and intentness to pick apart and second guess the entire process. Many times more than one associate re-assured I walked away with the best deal on the lot. After a good 24 hours to have it all soak in I definitely feel solid in the fact that I did. Like many others before me I did not walk in with the intent to 'buy today', but the team at Westshore earned my business on Saturday with attentiveness and persistence to find me the right vehicle. I say persistence because in no way did I feel like I was not going to be able to say no thank you and leave without being berated and bullied into something I did not really want. Every next mile I drive I am falling in love more and more with the deal and vehicle I purchased. Kuddos to Elias and Westshore team!! More
GREEDY MANAGERS WAITING TO RIP EVERY DOLLAR POSSIBLE FROM PE Starting off- The car I purchased from here is great, haven’t had any issues with the product(car) but it was not made by Westshore Honda, it’s manufa Starting off- The car I purchased from here is great, haven’t had any issues with the product(car) but it was not made by Westshore Honda, it’s manufactured by Honda. I trust Honda as a car brand and it’s products. Westshore Honda has zero credit in shaping my perception or helping me buy a Honda Car. The money I lost, is gone- and it is not about the money or loss. Just like everyone, as a consumer, I am disappointed about how I was given false information, manipulated to only meet/satisfy the dealer needs. I intend to write about this so that I can help other people not make the horrible mistake of buying a car from the GREEDY WESTHORE HONDA. DEALERSHIP MISTAKE: Trying to make as much profit as possible in 1 deal, not thinking about long-term and not caring about the customer needs and request. I am sure at least 10 people will read this review, out of which at least 3 won’t consider this dealership after reading it- and basically you(dealer) lose an opportunity of $45,000 -$60,000 over a few thousand dollars. MY MISTAKE: Completing the deal even though, there were red flags on every step. On December 22nd 2018, I purchased a Honda Civic 2017 from Westshore Honda and totally regret the decision. I got tricked into paying a price that I never agreed on. The car that I went to purchase was a Honda Civic 2017, 26,000 miles on it and no damages reported. I saw the internet price of $16,600 and that was in my budget range. When I received a quote from the Sales guy, it was quoted to $21,000 with some unwanted packages like the Window Tint, Tire Protection and Westshore Advantage package and I had to spent an hour at least, to try and communicate that even though all this may be beneficial, I as consumer do not NEED it. I specifically told them to quote me on the car sales price, dealer fees, sales tax, and title registration fees. My TOTAL BUDGET was $17,500. DEALERSHIP MISTAKE 1: Dealership didn’t listen and cared about my needs. They were literally forcing me take all the packages and deals. All they cared about was how much they could close the deal for and the underlying profit. Finally, they said this deal will be done in my Budget($17,500) and agreed on reducing the price. I decided to go ahead to the Finance Manager. As, I was waiting for more than 3 hours, I was exhausted. Finally, I went into the Finance Manager's office Hugo Gardin, to do the paperwork. The process is extremely untransparent with many gray areas, and they want you to do in digitally. At the end, I ended up paying $1200 more with many hidden costs I never asked for. Next, I had applied for a Bank of America Financing and it was still under review. Hugo gave me false information that he reached out Bank of America and got an interest rate quote. Total LIE as my own application was under review/inprocess. interest rate is high. I ended up signing for a 8.89% interest rate. DEALERSHIP MISTAKE 2: When I had questions about the finance terminologies on the contract, he started throwing some Finance jargon at me. When, I asked for a further explanation, he was rude to not give me an explanation. Very unprofessional and didn’t cared about Customer needs at all. All he cared about was Ripping as many dollars from the deal as possible and added unnecessary extra fees for things I never asked for. I am surprised MORGAN AUTO group has hired people like him. Clearly management and hiring issues. MY MISTAKE: I should have taken all those documents home, read it all of them over a day/consult with a friend and then sign it. ADVICE TO ANYONE CONSIDER TO BUY A CAR: Just walk out of there with that those numbers. Paperwork. Do not sign the deal right then and there. You’ll save a couple grand if you read everything carefully. Within the next two days, I found out that I was approved for a lower finance interest rate of 6.94%. Unfortunately for me, I was out of town for the next entire week (Since it was holiday week.). I called the Westshore Honda guys to cancel my first Financing contract and higher interest rate, I realized those hidden costs were unnecessary and asked to draft a new copy of the Financing contract. DEALERSHIP MISTAKE 3: Since, the first contract was signed, the Westshore Honda Financing team was least worried about my service experience post purchase of the car. They didn't even care about keeping me updated. I was emailing/texting every other day to get an update. Director of Finance was giving me one-line responses. When I came back in town after a week, I visited the dealership and signed the new paperwork but also realized that the car sales price they offered me, was never the one I agreed on. I tried explaining this to a Finance Manager (3rd finance guy as they were handing my case from person to person every-time I visited the office.) he basically tried to deceive/trick me by turning around numbers/words and what not. Basically, the car is not worth for how much it was sold for to me. The Kelley's blue book price of the car came out to be around $15,500 and I was charged $16,400. I agreed to pay $17,300-$17,600 for everything including taxes, dealer fees, title fees etc. Overall, ended up paying 18,500 for that car with a LOSS of $1000-1200. Basically, the dealer made, a profit of $1,000 to $1,800 out of my pocket- by playing with numbers during the entire process. Keeping the car sales price ambiguous the whole time. At the end, there was no survey from Westshore Honda to assess my Car buying experience. Totally visible, once the deal is done, these guys are least worried about the customer. If I was given an option to do a deal with these guys, I wouldn’t buy a car Tire from them I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE. PLEASE AVOID. More

The people have been friendly and non aggressive. They are accommodating and seem to care about what you have to say. My salesman this time was a young man named Zach Walters who was kind and genuine. He did not push me in anyway and instead, “fought” for a better price to help me out. I did not get a chance to review him through the dealership due to an email mix up but I would give him 10/10 on every category. This Honda dealership has been great and I will continue to do business with them. More
