Received a quote from him that was outrageous compared to other dealerships. The price he quoted was hundreds of dollars more per month on a lease. I could have leased a Mercedes for what he quoted. If you t other dealerships. The price he quoted was hundreds of dollars more per month on a lease. I could have leased a Mercedes for what he quoted. If you took the MSRP and divided by 60 it would still be less than the lease price by a lot. He tried to justify the numbers but when other dealerships are no where near his numbers I knew something was wrong. Then he wanted me to send him the other dealerships quotes. His first offer was $182 more per month (yes $182) than his second offer. He said his second offer was his best. If you are going to try to rip off people from the beginning how are you going to build trust for anyone to use you or this dealership. **Update as of 6/22/21** After leaving my review, I received an aggressive e-mail from Mr. Whittaker Harry Whittaker's e-mail: Hi Trevor, If you're going to leave a bad review and tag my name in it can you at least be honest please? I didn't send you the first quote, David did. I got involved and lowered the payment $182/mo to the very best deal that we could do right off the bat and then took the time to actually explain why the payment was higher than you expected, in spite of your rudeness. I have already submitted a full transcript of our emails to DealerRater to prove that you're lying but I thought I would give you a chance to man up yourself first because you didn't strike me as a petty liar. If the Honda is too expensive for your current budget that's fine. There is no need to lie and smear somebody else's name. From the point that I got involved with you, I lowered the payment and took the time to explain why the payment was different from what you expected. Please correct your review to actually reflect the truth of events. The truth shall set you free. ------------------------------------------------------------ My response: If you look at the e-mail trail, the initial e-mail I received was from an Ashante with a car quote. Would that be the same as "David"? From there, I received responses without any signature line and went back and forth with someone I assumed was Ashante (but again there was no signature line). All of a sudden there was a signature line with your name on the signature line. You never introduced yourself as someone taking over for Ashante/David. You just continued the conversation as if you were the person I was speaking with the entire time. So are you saying you took over the conversation for Ashante/David (not sure if that's the same person), but failed to introduce yourself or let me know that you took over the conversation? Thank you, -------------------------------------------------------- His response: All of my emails have a signature line. I apologize for not announcing my arrival into the conversation, I assumed you saw the signature. -------------------------------------------------------- To the person reading this review: I'm not exactly sure how a customer is supposed to understand that an e-mail coming from the same e-mail address each time could sometimes be one person, and other times be another person when both individuals don't put their signature line on their e-mails. 6 e-mails had no signature line and then one all of a sudden appeared. I found his response in e-mail to be very aggressive and unprofessional, but you can judge for yourself. More
Never go to Westshore Honda. This is my recent Never go to Westshore Honda. This is my recent experience: I leased a honda pilot on 6/11/2021 and traded my old vehicle and was very happy. I d Never go to Westshore Honda. This is my recent experience: I leased a honda pilot on 6/11/2021 and traded my old vehicle and was very happy. I drove the vehicle till today (6/17/2021), changed my insurance and I thought everything was fine. But today on 6/17/2021 I got a call from the dealer (Aaron) to collect the second key of the vehicle ( which I forgot to collect on 6/11) and he gave me a surprise saying I can't lease the vehicle(after going to the dealership). He forced me to buy the vehicle instead(not sure why). I simply rejected his offer and I was firm to lease only. I never expected this kind of behavior from reputed dealer like westshore. I wanted to share this experience here so that people will be cautious. I returned with my old vehicle(with lot of disappointment). I drove this vehicle from 6/11 to 6/17 almost like 6 days and drove around 100miles. Looks like they are planning to sell this vehicle for better price. I will never go to Westshore Honda again. More

To say I'm upset, annoyed, or aggravated is an understatement. This dealership keeps calling me and trying to talk to me while I'm there for service all to buy back my car but doesn't want to make understatement. This dealership keeps calling me and trying to talk to me while I'm there for service all to buy back my car but doesn't want to make a sale. I've told countless salesman what I'm looking for and trying to spend. I've told everyone that has tried to contact me all my info over the phone and not to have me come down to waste my time and there's, all for a "I can't "make a deal. The words "I can't " don't exist in my dictionary. I was taught at a young age that there is no such thing as "I can't." What they need to say is "I won't." Everyone hates how long the process is at a dealership for anything. I was very adamant about coming to the dealership and sitting for 2 plus hours all for a "I can't" make a deal instead of saying "I won't" make a deal. I told the sales manager Mark this was THE last time I will ever step foot at Westshore Honda again. I'm tired of the run around and I'm tired of them wasting mine and there time. What really set me over the edge is I was asked would I be willing to go to another dealership and get an offer from them and bring it back so they can try and match it... I don't know what they were thinking but that makes no sense at all. If I have to go to another dealership to get an offer just to bring it back so you can make me an offer, I would just stay at the other dealership. Why not just make the deal work here where I'm at to begin with. I don't know who taught him how to make deals but that is definitely not it. I know a deal can be done because one of my friends just bought the same car I was looking at and got the same offer and deal I was trying to get. I know everyone is different as far as what there credit score is or what they can afford but what I was asking wasn't absurd or impossible to do. Like I said I will never be back to Westshore Honda for anything and that includes serving my car. I'll drive the extra miles to another Honda dealership. More
