During negotiations, there is always the good guy/bad guy approach. One offers a price, the next one laments that is was too low and adjustments must be made. Pieces of paper are proffered with various quotes, then new ones are offered later in the negotiations without reference to the original quotes so that comparisons are not immediately apparent. Then once a price was negotiated, I found out that the initial verbal quote on my financing doubled! Why? Because I got 'too good' of a deal on the final price, the finacnce guy told me! My advice: 1. Go in armed with as much information as you can about the true cost of the car and its accessories 2. If you are planning to finance through the dealership, don't agree on a negotiated price until you also have the finance rate in writing. Car dealerships are in the business of making money. While I wouldn't call them dishonest, they are certainly NOT transparent in how they manipulate all associated costs. More

They don't trivialize, and they don't patronize - they just make your time with them enjoyable and worthwhile. We didn't get the deal we wanted the first day. Matter of fact, I left thinking I might have misjudged the market and that we might be shopping for a long time yet. But a day later, first thing in the morning, Erin got back in touch and put some new numbers on the table - within our budget - and in short order the deal was done. I drove from about an hour and a half out of town to see a specific model that I was looking for. I initially located the car online, after searching the online inventories of about 20+ Honda dealerships across the state. I emailed the dealership after about a week of thinking about the car and researching it extensively. Ryne contacted me--literally--within 2 minutes of submitting the email! (*ON a side note: other Honda dealerships I contacted via email WEEKS ago are JUST NOW attempting to following up.) This is my third Honda (but my first finance after two leases) so I was extremely nervous about the whole process. He answered all of my questions (probably about a weeks worth of emails!) and was always extremely pleasant and straight forward about the process. In the end I got my dream car for a great price & a great interest rate. Best sales experience at a dealership so far. I will be back. Thanks Ryne! (& Melvin!) More

SUN ROOF GLASS EXPLODED OUT WHILE DRIVING (WAS NOT OPEN) DEALRSHIP VERY ACCOMODATING ON OFFERING, WHAT THEY CALLED A "GOODWILL GESTURE" TO REPLACE THE SUNROOF GLASS ON A 2014 CRV, THAT JUST EXPLODED OUT WHIL DEALRSHIP VERY ACCOMODATING ON OFFERING, WHAT THEY CALLED A "GOODWILL GESTURE" TO REPLACE THE SUNROOF GLASS ON A 2014 CRV, THAT JUST EXPLODED OUT WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE. INTERIOR SLIDER WAS CLOSED, AS WAS THE SUNROOF. SOUNDED LIKE AN EXPLOSION INSIDE OF MY CAR. FORTUNATELY NO GLASS WAS INSIDE CAR. TOOK CAR TO KUHN HONDA. JOB WAS COMPLETED QUICKLY. SUNROOM GLASS EXPLODED. TOOK TO KUHN AND IT WAS REPLACED. DID NOT GO TO USE THE SUNROOF FOR ANOTHER DAY. THE DAY AFTER IT WAS REPLACED. HOWEVER WHEN I OPENED THE INSIDE SLIDER, ALL I HEARD WAS GLASS. GLASS WAS STILL ALL INSIDE THE ROOF SOMEPLACE. I CALLED THE SERVICE ADVISOR AND LEFT HIM A MESSAGE. WHICH HE NEVER RETURNED. THE FRUSTRATING PART OF THIS IS THAT I HAVE TO AGAIN TAKE TIME OFF OF WORK TO GO GET THIS FIXED. I THEN NOTICED THAT THE HEADLINER COMPLETELY SURROUNDING THE INSIDE SLIDER IS JUST BLACK. NO CONSIDERATION AT ALL FOR THE MESS THAT WAS LEFT OF MY CAR. IF THEY DON'T ALREADY, THEY SHOULD HAVE A SECOND PERSON SIGN OFF ON THE WORK. ESPECIALLY IN A SITUATION WHERE YOU HAD GLASS EXPLODE. From the time we first spoke with Mr. Diamond on the phone until we drove off of the lot we were very pleased with the way that we were treated. We drove from Zephyrhills to Tampa and do not regret this decision as we were treated as real people and not just a number. It is rare in today's world to find a car dealership that prides its self in great customer service and satisfaction. Mr. Diamond was very professional and was not afraid to ask for help if it was something that he did not understand or was not sure how to do it such as syncing my phone to the blue tooth. Mr, Diamond made sure that we were completely satisfied from the time we walked into Kuhn Honda until our deal was complete. During this car buying process we had been to several dealers and had looked at other cars but in the end made the decision to lease a 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid from Kuhn Honda & Mr. Diamond due to their willingness to work with us and treat us their most important customer and not just a number.
