I went into the Doan Dodge Dealership located on Ridge Road West in Rochester today (10/19/12) over an on going mechanical issue since I bought a truck from Doan back in June. My family all own vehicles from this particular dealership and have had fantastic serivce thanks to Matt Tyler respectively, who has sold us each of our own vehicles. After several trips to the service center for various break/wheel related repairs over the course of 4 months however, I finally had to bring my vehicle into our own automechanic to finally fix the issue. The service center at Doan did quite a bit of good work on my truck without charge, and were always fair to deal with nonetheless, but the problem was never really resolved until I brought it into our own automechanic. I came into Doan to address the issue and was greeted by John Labate who looked over all of the paper work involving the work that went into the truck. John was very methodical and accommodating about the issue at hand. We were later joined by Matt Tyler who looked over everything as well. Both John and Matt expressed their concern about the issue and determined a professional and ethical resolution in the favor of the customer on the behalf of Doan. I did not necessarily expect to be compensated for the work I had done to the truck, however John and Matt insisted on the coverage for what I inevitably had to do in order to fix the problem. Based on my personal experience with Matt Tyler specifically in regards to selling the truck to me earlier this year is that he is honest, with an overall good business work ethic and an understanding of the importance to be genuine with your clients, which instills a loyal and trust worthy relationship between him and his customers. A tremendous thanks to both Matt Tyler and John Labate who will have unlimited success in what they do when they continue to handle situations with such virtue and with the same emphasis on customer satisfaction as they have in this situation. John was friendly, knowledgable, and must have read me right, because he was not the least bit pushy or in a rush to "Make a sale". John answered all my questions and was a pleasure to deal with. I had to order what I wanted and John kept me informed as to when I could expect delivery of my wrangler. When it came in, once again John came in on his day off to deliver the jeep to me. I suppose he could have passed the buck to deliver the jeep, but made sure he did it. John D. has helped my family for many years with the purchase of cars and it hasn't been easy because most of the purchases were for my grandchildren.
