West Herr BMW sold me a lemon. I had it inspected at a West Herr Audi shop after I noticed it was rattling and banging as I went over bumps. It spent over a week there. The Audi s I had it inspected at a West Herr Audi shop after I noticed it was rattling and banging as I went over bumps. It spent over a week there. The Audi shop was frustrated because the BMW dealership was not returning calls regarding what they would pay for. WH BMW covered two items mandated by NY lemon law and that was all. After I put an additional $1300 to fix a very obvious exhaust rattle, I then contacted my lawyer, threatened to go to management etc, After raising that stink, I was promised a credit toward a new car, equal to what I paid for that Audi, $33k plus a credit for the repairs I put in it.. So with my next selection, I went up in price, $36K, as a token of gratitude, came way across town in traffic to close the deal they promised, and they bait and switched me to the tune of three grand less for my trade. Ultimately I just chose to pay and be rid of the place, The car I purchased will be serviced outside West Herr (Audi service was not trustworthy and a bad experience as well). To me West Herr BMW's used car sales people turned out to be money grubbing liars who may sell you an unsafe used car they did not inspect thoroughly. One would not expect that when purchasing a high end used car from a premium car (BMW) dealer. I guess that works for them; never for me again.. More
