Excellent Customer Service I was traveling cross country in a new Subaru and by the time I got to Portland I new I would new scheduled service to change out the break-in oil and I was traveling cross country in a new Subaru and by the time I got to Portland I new I would new scheduled service to change out the break-in oil and a general check on all systems. During my travels we came across a road stripping vehicle painting the center line of a two lane highway. Since he was traveling at about 10mph I had to pass this vehicle. The next day I noticed yellow paint on the trim, in the wheel wells and on the tires of the new car. I asked Jennifer, in the service department if their detail department could remove the paint. She checked with Sam in the detail shop and said, for a nominal charge, they could try to remove the paint. I take my hat off to Jennifer for her great follow-up in making this happen and Sam for the excellent job in removing the paint. Couldn't even tell that there was ever a speck of paint on the car. People like Jennifer and Sam made my experience with this dealership outstanding. Jennifer also gave me a full report on the maintenance. The other nice surprise was the fact that they washed the exterior and vacuumed the interior which had accumulated dirt from our travels. My hats off to these employees who went above and beyond. No Help All the reviews for Wentworth Subaru are true. They are a five star dealership, and your best friend, when you know what you want and are ready to buy All the reviews for Wentworth Subaru are true. They are a five star dealership, and your best friend, when you know what you want and are ready to buy. When you're only shopping, they are indifferent. And once they have your money, they don't really care anymore. I bought a certified Outback that was less than a year old and still on Subaru warranty, thinking I was making a good purchase. There was a bumper cover on the maintenance log that wasn't mentioned or explained, and a shop tech suggested there had been a fender-bender repair. This may have been a misunderstanding, but made me worry. The main issue was a persistent and increasing leak in the front tires which wasn't covered on warranty. When it was finally diagnosed months later, the tire store told me that the car had been left until the tires went flat and the damaged tire sidewalls could blow out at any time. This meant Wentworth Subaru sent me on the road with a car that was unsafe to drive. Matters were made worse when I tried to contact them by mail and phone, and they never responded to my complaint or returned my calls. Quite a change from when they were cheerily keeping me up to date on new arrivals. Buy for the price, but remember that the charm is only skin deep and they won't love you in the morning. If you want a relationship, go somewhere else. I give an overall low rating for expensive surprises, high pressure backroom sales tactics, and horrible service. These five-star best friends will give a one-star deaf ear to any problems. UPDATED: This review was updated in order to be more complete. Wentworth Subaru has since gotten back to me and are assisting me with the tires. More

BUY A SUBARU FROM SPENCER Spencer and the Wentworth Subaru team set the bar high for buying a Subaru in Portland! Spencer was knowledgeable but not pushy- we were lucky to have Spencer and the Wentworth Subaru team set the bar high for buying a Subaru in Portland! Spencer was knowledgeable but not pushy- we were lucky to have run into him. He walked us through many options and we ultimately made the best choice for our little family. The dealership accommodated some minor issues after we drove it off the lot- no questions asked. We couldn't have had a better experience! More
Wouldn't return They sold me a car with bad clutches, which I had to find out about a day later, not because they told me. I also didn't need to be financed through They sold me a car with bad clutches, which I had to find out about a day later, not because they told me. I also didn't need to be financed through them, which really seemed to annoy the sales manager because he was a complete xxxxx after that. They ran a credit check even though they didn't need to, which put a hard inquiry on my credit report. The attitude continued when they were unable to hike up the price by asking me to buy every package or "deal" under the sun that I repeatedly said I didn't need. Even if they do negotiate the price with you, they intend to make it all back *and more* through the financing and extra packages they insist that you need. When you resist their efforts, they just stop being nice to you altogether. More

I ended up buying from Dick Hannah in Vancouver. They honored price, gave me a better interest rate, no fee to have it delivered to their lot, best customer service experience ever. So easy and Antonio Pedroza was so great to work with. Don't waste your time with Wentworth go straight to Dick Hannah in Vancouver! More
When we decided to buy a new subaru, we quickly decided on a specific configuration that happened to be semi-rare. We found "the one" which was being sent to a dealership in Bend, OR. We decided to call t on a specific configuration that happened to be semi-rare. We found "the one" which was being sent to a dealership in Bend, OR. We decided to call the Wentworth Subaru dealership to see if we could work a deal with them and have it redirected there. Over the phone, Mitch seemed like a good guy to work with. He seemed like he knew what he was talking about and like he wanted to make the customer happy. He told us he could easily have the truck redirect the car to their lot. Once we arrived, it quickly became clear that they were only in it to make a quick sale. They started pulling all the typical tricks that a shady dealership would. The car we traded In was essentially brand new with only 5,000 miles on it and in excellent condition (I'm not exaggerating). The book value for clean trade was 17k with a dealer retail of 22k, they were barely willing to give 15k. I thought I was being overly fair offering it to them at clean trade with plenty of profit to be made on their end. This was our first turn-off. Then when we tried to negotiate, they weren't willing to look into anything that we suggested. We were under the impression that they wanted our business and were willing to be fair with us but clearly this was not the case. When we went to test-drive the car, the odometer had over 200 miles on it. The car was supposed to have 5. He lied to us on the phone as to how the car was being transferred and it turned out that one of their staff drove it from bend to Portland. This would be fine if it wasn't supposed to be brand new. Not to mention it was filthy dirty inside and out. We would have just driven to Bend and gotten the car if we would have been told the truth on how it was going to get there, but again they just wanted a quick sale disregarding their customers happiness. As the deal progressed, and as our satisfaction was becoming less and less, Mitch began getting snappy towards us and even told us to leave if we wanted because he had other people lined up for the car. It was very unprofessional and rude. When we did the paperwork signing for the finance part of it, the finance guy (Todd I think was his name) rushed us and seemed like he didn't have the time for us or cared about our questions. So basically, we were lied to, cheated with our trade and disrespected by the men at this dealership. I would not recommend them and will not be returning to do business. More
