My son bought a new Ford Escape hybrid in 2021 when he lived in Alaska. He moved to Spokane in April of this year. At his 30,000 mile service he took it to Wendle. He informed them that he had a clunking lived in Alaska. He moved to Spokane in April of this year. At his 30,000 mile service he took it to Wendle. He informed them that he had a clunking noise in the front end. They failed to fix it. Now, 5000 miles later, they have discovered that the inner tie rod is damaged. In my opinion it should be covered under warranty. They told him that it was caused by water damage and therefore it isn’t covered. Well, over $1700 later it is fixed. Also, he now needs to buy a new set of tires because his original ones wore out prematurely due to the tie rod going bad. I have owned Fords most of my adult life. In fact, I have two right now. If they can’t make a vehicle that water won’t ruin the inner tie rod within the first year, I will never own another. I would definitely NOT recommend Wendle Ford. I will be contacting Ford Motor Company with a complaint. More
