Mike Garron is a very likeable person, as a salesman he put's no pressure on the customer to buy. he actually was helpful in the negotiation process and made me feel extremely comfortable that he was ther put's no pressure on the customer to buy. he actually was helpful in the negotiation process and made me feel extremely comfortable that he was there to make me happy. i met Dennis Morin who is a Sales manager, Dennis approved the deal which i thought was a very, very good price for me. i ended up buying my dream car, a Lexus because of these two caring gentlemen. they could have very easily held their price and sold this beautiful car in the future for more money. Anthony Velardo is the business, financial agent, he will recommend warrantees and other car care needs. he was key in getting new registration plates, contacting my insurance company, tile, bill of sale, taxes ect. Because of my changing work schedule and the distance from the dealership (i live in Whitman) i only had a couple of hours to have all this transfering done, plus the inspection. Mike went to work on his day off because his house computer was down and he wanted to check for my e-mail. He volunteered to pick me up at 8:00am and get me to the dealership when they opened. Mike and Anthony coordinated by phone the morning i was picked up so there would not be delays. I have bought many cars in my life and never have i had such a great, personal, friendly and efficient team working FOR me. When i picked up the car it was a showroom car, just perfect in every way. He was friendly and easy to talk to. He listened to what I needed and did not try and push any one particular car on me. He clearly is very knowledgeable about cars in general but is able to make someone like me who doesn't know much about cars feel at ease. I traded in my old VW Bug and the price I got was very fair, considering it required quite a bit of work. The whole process was seamless and easy, which was important as it was the first time I had bought a car by myself. I bought a gently used 4- door Rabbit for an excellent price and couldn't be happier. All round a very pleasant experience, thanks in no small measure to Aurelio. More

He is both interested in making buying a car a good experience and interesting to talk to. He knows his cars. I looked at both new and very gently used cars, and ended up changing my mind at the very last minute. I switched from a brand new Passat to an 09 model that had almost no miles on it. Aurelio was flexible and apparently unflapped by my last minute change. I don't know if I could have gotten a better price, but Dennis and Anthony were also extremely helpful. I would recommend this dealership without hesitation. More

Aurelio was very easy to talk to. Both my wife and I felt very comfortable working with him. He was fact based and tried to point out features of the car that would interest us. Within 10 days after purchasing a certified used 2007 Passat I was "fortunate" enough to quickly discover that 5-6 rear-window defrost grid-lines were defective. After a weekend of serious consideration, I purchased my Jetta on a Sunday afternoon and picked it up Monday. Everyone was helpful and my entire experience gives me confidence that this is a dealership I can trust in the future. More

But short surveys do not capture additional details that I want to pass along. 1)I did vehicle research (Car and Driver, Consumer Reports). I did pricing research (Edmonds, Kelley, US News). I did test drives of a standard Golf and a Golf TDI at a nearby dealer. I used Kelley to express interest to three other local dealers, including Wellesley Volkswagen. 2)My relationship with Wellesley VW was developed entirely through phone conversations with Kevin Mullin. I did not look beyond Wellesley VW because Kevin easily adapted to my way of working. 3)Kevin first looked for a standard Golf at another dealer. …No longer available. Other matches were in NJ and PA. …Availability uncertain. I rechecked specs on my Acura Integra GS-R, (also a Car and Driver Top 10) and refocused on the Golf GTI and the MasdaSpeeed3 as closer replacements. 4)I chose an “Autobahn” GTI (refinement over performance). So, Kevin went looking for an “Autobahn” GTI and the right deal fell in place. An “Autobahn” GTI was on a truck headed to your sister dealership in Westborough. The GTI completed a swap initiated by Westborough. 5)I was quite sure about what I wanted and I knew the pricing structure from true cost to true invoice to MSRP. I bought the GTI on approval and never set foot in the Wellesley dealership until the day I drove the GTI and signed the paperwork. Here's what works for this customer: 1)Do vehicle research – reviews, spec comparisons, test drives. 2)Do price research – pricing structure and competitive selling price. 3)Work with an experienced salesperson like Kevin who: ·Has thorough knowledge about current VWs and earlier models. ·Will work to find the vehicle that the customer wants. ·Recognizes when the customer has done research and has the facts. ·Has the authority to personally close a competitive deal. Bottom line: From Search to Find to Acquire to Drive to Purchase… This deal was done almost entirely by phone with one salesperson in 5 days. More

We went to Wellesley Volkswagen shopping for a good used car, fairly specific with our shopping list. A couple of weeks later the dealer called with almost exactly what we wanted! Aurielo Pabon was a gentleman throughout, very friendly, responsible and communicative. He helped to make the entire experience go smoothly from start to finish. Mike Ahern, the general manager, was also excellent and really took care of us. The car was completely detailed and waxed and ready later the same day. They were extremely flexible with getting it inspected, allowing me to drop off at night later in the week and pick up the next day. I would recommend this dealership. I think that they are interested in maintaining excellent repeat customers and that feels good. Only suggestion for improvement: the gentleman in the business office was somewhat hasty and not entirely clear with warranties and responding to questions. More
