I have to say that not buying a new vehicle in 12 years, I was unsure and stressed about buying a vehicle. After searching for awhile on cars.com, I found a 05 Toyota Camry that peaked my interest from Wel I was unsure and stressed about buying a vehicle. After searching for awhile on cars.com, I found a 05 Toyota Camry that peaked my interest from Wellesley Volkswagen. I sent an email for more info on vehicle and within hours, I received an email back from salesman, Scott Marlette. I drove to the dealership that same day without calling ahead and walked in at which time I met Scott who was welcoming and not pushy. He made the test drive an easy process and then we headed back to the dealership. Scott never made me feel uneasy or tense during our negotiations. Scott was up front on the orginal price and after a couple of back and forth emails with the price being negotiated, I was able to feel comfortable that the final deal Scott offered was fair. After signing the P&S agreement and completing the credit check form, Scott called me the same day indicating that they had a loan for me. I agreed to buy the vehicle and with not much notice,the following day I drove up and picked up the vehicle. I could not have been happier, Scott had the car detailed and cleaned and it was in pristine condition. I met with the finance manager, Anthony Velardo who was professional and the deal was completed. Over the weekend, I had a change of heart on one of the service/insurance packages at which time I called Scott and Anthony on Monday and let them know my feelings. I also asked to come up on Tuesday to have my inspection and registration completed by Wellesley Volkswagen. Scott accomodated my request and everything was done with no hassle or long wait. Anthony also had my paperwork changed back to my original terms with no problems. Overall, the experience of purchasing a vehicle from Wellesley Volkswagen and dealing with Scott Marlette was an enjoyable one. I was coming off a Jetta lease and my volkswagon dealer at the time of my lease was in Brookline, since Brookline, is no long a VW dealsership, I was completley overwhelmed by going throught the turn in process and finding the next VW to lease. I knew Wellesley was not far from my office so I just picked up the phone and called them for "Help". Help came in the form of Aurelio Pabon who upon my telling him, I no longer have a dealership, he said in a very calming and friendly voice, "Yes, you do Lisa, We will be your dealership, we can help you." Immediately my stess level dropped and I felt like he completley understood my anxiety and could help me. We settled on a time to meet and he had seeral cars based on our intital discussion to show me and my husband. There was no pressure, he guided us through the process easily and at our comfort level and we were able to drive off in a new Jetta that I love the same day and took care of explaining how the turn in inspection would work. My husband and I couldn't have been more comfortable and thrilled with the experience. The sudden increase in gas prices drove me to pull the trigger on the TDI Sportwagen with the clean diesel engine. I had recently purchased a new VW Tiguan (awesome) 3 months ago from Kevin Mullin, so na trigger on the TDI Sportwagen with the clean diesel engine. I had recently purchased a new VW Tiguan (awesome) 3 months ago from Kevin Mullin, so naturally, when shopping around for my 2nd car, I was hoping Kevin's dealer could match my best offer so I could buy from him. I live closer to other VW dealers, but Kevin is the best in being honest and open through the sales process and does a great walk-through. It's nice to buy a car brand from someone who is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the brand. The only problem now is, the TDI has a long life and I may not be back for a while to buy again! But I'll recommend him to friends. More
