Great buying experience with Eric Tonkonogy I recently purchased a CPO VW Golf from Wellesley VW. I had a great buying experience working with Eric Tonkonogy. Eric was very helpful, and has a la I recently purchased a CPO VW Golf from Wellesley VW. I had a great buying experience working with Eric Tonkonogy. Eric was very helpful, and has a laid back, low-pressure approach that I really appreciated. For example, I wanted to take an extended solo test drive (a couple of hours) to determine if the seat and driving position would work for me, and Eric just scheduled a time and handed me the keys. He also tuned in to what my priorities were in finding a car (a power seat, manual transmission, etc.) and suggested alternative models that might work for me. He didn't try to steer me toward any particular car. I ended up taking two test-drives in the car I eventually purchased (again, with no hassles), which helped me make an excellent decision. Finally, based on data from Cargurus, I thought that Wellesley VW’s pricing was on the high side of the market, but Eric and the sales manager were willing to negotiate a deal that was fair for both parties, without any drama. So far, I am very happy with my new VW, and highly recommend the buying experience with Eric. More
