He gave me a great overview of the vehicle, was a reasonable negotiator, and an all around good salesperson / representative of the dealership and VW brand. Negotiating a purchase price isn't easy, but I felt in control of the situation and not pressured by Aurelio or the manager. Pickup of my car went well. All calls were returned promptly, and the other dealership staff also very easy to work with. Great dealership. THANK YOU, Aurelio! More
I needed to buy a car for my son via telephone as I live out of state and he would be attending school in Boston. I was lucky enough to speak to Aurelio Pabon who was a joy to deal with from beginning to en out of state and he would be attending school in Boston. I was lucky enough to speak to Aurelio Pabon who was a joy to deal with from beginning to end. He walked me thru the purchase process and worked with my chosen insurance agent to get things done on time. Aurelio also was very professional on price discussion and I never felt pressured to make a decision quickly. Finally, when I showed up to pick up the car things were ready to go and I had no issues. I highly recommend the dealer and Aurellio. More
Aurelio was so friendly and helpful. He tried to get me the best deal possible, and did. He was genuinely kind and a great guy to talk with while waiting for paperwork to go through. I have used Wellesley VW for 10 years & recently got my third car there (Passat and then 2 leased Jettas). Service has been exceptional -- easy to get an appt, work done completely & competently, all service advisors very professional, ride home when necessary! This time my salesperson was Aurelio Pabon. Aurelio is a very warm, straight-up, friendly guy. Loved working with him, and I would definitely go to him again and recommend him to others. My "Great" ratings apply to my experience with him. I have some minor concerns with the dealership itself: 1) The first regards getting answers to non-standard questions. A family member was buying my off-lease Jetta -- took me several tries to get some good guidance about how to proceed. (In fairness, my call to VW of America was also hard work AND MA RMV does not make this process totally transparent.) 2) No one really loves going to talk to the finance guy. I realize his job is to sell you things, but don't try to sell me me dent coverage on my lease by telling me VW of America "always" charges you something for "any damage" on a lease car. This is simply not true. VW sends you a very detailed booklet detailing a perfectly reasonable list about what is acceptable wear & tear (including dents and scrapes!) with no up-charge. This was a car that went through 3 New England winters and was parked outside every day! Of course it had minor imperfections. But I went through the inspection process with VW of America's rep and had no additional charges. 3) Also I was dismayed to see that I will now be assessed a $350 fee when I turn in this 2012 lease car -- whether it is a straight return, a lease purchase OR I BUY OR LEASE A NEW ONE. The last time I leased I was only on the hook for a fee if I turned the car in. Not only is it an irritating way to treat a good customer, it is a disincentive to leasing or buying another VW. Why not go looking at something else if I have to pay the extra $350 no matter what I do? Just doesn't make sense to me. All this said, I like going to Wellesley VW! I would just like to see the loose ends tied up! More
Aurelio Pabon was exceptionally helpful in every way he could be and I would recommend him very highly. The dealership has always been very low pressure and can make car shopping a pleasure. I had a great sales experience. I went to the dealership expecting the usual runaround or dog and pony show form the salesman and sales manager. as you can tell i have a very low opinion of the purchasing expecting the usual runaround or dog and pony show form the salesman and sales manager. as you can tell i have a very low opinion of the purchasing process but I was very suprised. I initially dealt with John Nesbitt who was a very afforable gentlemen, very low key, and no pressure. He was very informative on the detals of the cars I looked at and professional at all times. Due to business commitments he engaged Kevin Mullin to assist me further and it was Kevin who I worked with from the first visit to the day I drove away in the car. Kevin is very gregarious and enengenic without being pushy. He went out of his way answering questions I asked as well as those my wife posed. On the day we took delivery of the vehicle he spent at least 30 minutes demonstrating all the features of the car to my wife and myself. I would tell my friends and relations who were interested in purchasing a car to stop by the dealership and ask for Kevin or John with no reservation. More
What a great experience! I had been taking my older VW to this dealership for several years to be serviced, so when I needed a new car, I thought this place would be a good place to begin my search. I was referred to Aurelio by my brother who had recently also bought a VW from him. He was very friendly, accomodating with my time crunch and I never felt pressured.
