Any review of my experience is based solely on my dealings with Hermine. This is my 5th BMW in a row and I have relationships with other dealers so surely had other choices. Hermine is a longtime fri dealings with Hermine. This is my 5th BMW in a row and I have relationships with other dealers so surely had other choices. Hermine is a longtime friend which brought me to Weatherford. The decision to buy a new car when the one I have still performs exceptionally, was to update the safety features. That is to say, this was not a purchase driven by extreme need or passion. I would call it utilitarian. It was also a transaction during the height of covid so there is much different about the experience. Hermine did an excellent job of understanding my needs, was extraordinarily proactive in identifying my options, her customer service ethic is the best and her 'bedside manner' very effective. I believe I got a good value on a new car. My only criticism of the experience is the call with Kris Marmol on what I thought was about credit and the financing. I was not prepared for his role which was simply to sell a bunch of extra services/coverages. He was abrupt, impatient, and presumptions to the point I just ended the call. If this is a necessary part of your process, you might rethink it because I ended up buying no add ons. My experience with my other dealers is quite different between the buying part and ongoing servicing. I live in Marin and will most likely take the car to Sonnen about whom I have neutral feelings. Perhaps traveling to Berkeley for service might be worth the effort if the care and demeanor is equal to what Hermine provided.
