I’ve always felt like car dealers were not honest, and I feel like we’ve learned our lesson here. After we had our credit checked, we were told that the loan would be 3% APR and that our payments would be feel like we’ve learned our lesson here. After we had our credit checked, we were told that the loan would be 3% APR and that our payments would be between $405 and $415, depending on what options were on the car that they could find for us (They did not have the car we wanted in stock) When we were signing the papers, it ended up being 4.6% and our payments are now $428. When we asked our sales person why our loan was not 3% like he told us, he said that he didn’t know anything about that so he sent us to finance who said "Who told you that? They don’t know what the APR will be until a bank agrees to buy the loan". I feel like we were lied to. Our payments were higher even after they supposedly subtracted a discount we were supposed to get. There was no communication between the sales person and finance person. I will not buy another car from this dealer. I love the car, so I would buy a Ford again, but not from Walt Sweeny. We actually looked at an Escape several years ago at Walt Sweeny, but left because the sales person made us feel uncomfortable. Seems like they are all about selling the car, but don’t know enough about the car to answer your questions. More

I worked with Bob Easterling for about SEVEN months trying to decide what type of car to purchase. I visited other Ford dealers and also Toyota dealers. My previous car is a 2001 Avalon with 206,000 trying to decide what type of car to purchase. I visited other Ford dealers and also Toyota dealers. My previous car is a 2001 Avalon with 206,000 miles. I have not had problems with the Avalon, so it was a decision to switch to Ford. During all those months and all those visits, Bob was always patient, informative and not once was he pushy. I felt he was honest and truly looking out for my best interests. He was helpful in my decisions regarding options and the best way to spend my dollars. I am very pleased with my new car and felt cared for during the entire experience. Thanks BOB! More

What can I say. I found a nice accessible van at Walt Sweeney Ford. I contacted their online sales department who responded quickly to schedule an appointment. When I arrived I was met by Tony who was an Sweeney Ford. I contacted their online sales department who responded quickly to schedule an appointment. When I arrived I was met by Tony who was an all around nice guy. I took the van for a test drive and noticed the AC wasn't functioning. With this hot weather this was deal breaker. The van ran great otherwise. We talked it over and Tony Agreed to have the AC fixed before I signed any papers (which is rare in used car sales). I knew I was dealing with a good salesman. He called me Monday afternoon to let me know he sent the van to service that morning and they repaired the AC. I came out Tuesday after work to take another test drive. AC worked great van drove great. We then worked out my trade-in. All I can say is they're good at making the customer happy. He was able to give me what I wanted for my trade-in and work with the creditors to get me financed as this was a special case being a 2003. Overall it was a great experience. Only negative in the whole deal was Tony's spotted tie.....lol More
