I purchased a pre-owned Maxima from them after seeing the car on craigslist. It’s a very nice car and the initial sale of the vehicle was fine. A few days later i received a text message from Ken's personal car on craigslist. It’s a very nice car and the initial sale of the vehicle was fine. A few days later i received a text message from Ken's personal cell phone asking me to sign "one more silly document." After confirming that the phone number did indeed belong to Ken I responded with a fax number. What I got was car fax paper with a line and an X scribbled at the top. I was in the middle of the work day and didn’t have time to send the paper back. At about 8:30 at night he text me that he was still waiting for the paper to be signed. I text him back that I thought him to be very unprofessional to be texting me in the first place. I found this very odd since it was not a legal document, and there was no explanation as to why I was signing it. Again another text in the morning warning me that I needed to sign the car fax in order to receive my title. This is when I called the dealership to ask why. I was told "it’s just standard procedure for you to get the title", and that was all. I contacted the manager and left a message. I did not receive a call back. I received the car fax by mail this time asking for a signature with still no explanation as to what I was agreeing to. I contacted Wayzata and spoke to the receptionist who was very kind. She took my number and told me someone would contact me back. At this point my temporary window license is about to expire. I got a call back from (finance director) without allowing me to get a word in he told me "Listen here, there was a mix up in the finance department and we are missing $500 in fees that WE had forgot to charge you (this being the first i knew about it) If i don't get the signed car fax and $500 dollars on my desk by tomorrow at 4 pm i will report this car stolen." I asked him why the car fax needed to even be signer (once again) and he says to me "it doesn't matter why, good luck!" I live 3 hours away from this dealership. It was sorted out finally when my partner had to call them. I will never dealer with such unprofessional, rude people ever again. More
I had a great experience from start to finish in the lease of my new Altima. My salesman was Alex Tzach and he was very thorough, knowledgeable and never pushy, which I sincerely appreciated. After I ma lease of my new Altima. My salesman was Alex Tzach and he was very thorough, knowledgeable and never pushy, which I sincerely appreciated. After I made the decision to lease and all the paperwork was done, he helped me to program all the gadgets inside the car to my liking. I asked if he would copy the address book in my cell phone over to the car's blue tooth capability or whatever the technical term is, and he was more than happy to help me. He has been professional in following up with phone calls to see if I need anymore help and also to let me know when my plates came in. I would highly recommend him and Wayzata Nissan to anyone. They made car shopping (something I dread) a very pleasurable experience. I am a first time Nissan owner and I love my new car! More
This is one of the worst dealers in MN-I went in twice to look at used and new cars. The sales person was very rude. Over all if you are rich with a lot of money to through away this is your kind of a deal look at used and new cars. The sales person was very rude. Over all if you are rich with a lot of money to through away this is your kind of a dealer. If you are like me have a good credit but work hard for your money and want to save stay away from this dealer. More

After disappointing customer service experiences at 2 other area Nissan dealerships earlier that day, it was refreshing to walk into Wayzata Nissan and immediately be greeted by a personable and attentiv other area Nissan dealerships earlier that day, it was refreshing to walk into Wayzata Nissan and immediately be greeted by a personable and attentive sales representative. Alex Tkach was not only very likeable, he was knowledgeable and enthusiastic without crossing the line into being "pushy." My Toyota lease wasn't up for another few months, but with the deal that he and Colton Ray put together for me, I was able to end my lease, not owe anything and am now driving my cool little Nissan Juke earlier than planned! They even stayed after the dealership closed that Saturday to finish up the paperwork. It felt like VIP service from start to finish. The post-sales follow up has also been terrific. I will definitely return to Wayzata Nissan when it's time to shop for my next new car and will recommend them to family and friends. Be sure to ask for Alex Tkach. You'll be glad you did! He gives car salesmen a good name. More
I am so happy with my experience at Wayzata Nissan. I couldn't be happier with my 2013 Nissan Rogue and the amazing customer service that Colton Ray provided far exceeded my expectations. Went in to test drive a 2012 Nissan Altima today that I had called on and email a number of times on and was told that it was "perfect". Got there and it had no glove box, no fuel door and no headrests. had called on and email a number of times on and was told that it was "perfect". Got there and it had no glove box, no fuel door and no headrests. Ken the salesman was stunned at the condition of the vehicle and had no explanation for it initially. Took the test drive and went back in to figure out what was going on. He disappers into the sales managers office for 10 minutes and comes back out and says it is being sold as is and that it is $1100 to fix it. Now the internet sales manager never mentions this, Ken apparently has no idea about it. It was a classic bait and switch. It is disgusting that they are this unethical. Steer clear. More

After many years of purchasing vehicles, I definitely felt that Wayzata Nissan dealership and especially,Tim Olson, did a wonderful job at creating a stress-free experience. I absolutely knew what I was felt that Wayzata Nissan dealership and especially,Tim Olson, did a wonderful job at creating a stress-free experience. I absolutely knew what I was looking for and Tim was great at finding what I need/wanted. Buying a car can be a frustrating situation. I felt that Tim was honest, personable, a great communicator, and easy to work with. I traveled from another state and I would choose to drive the 4.5 hours to purchase another car from this dealer and dealership. More
I have bought a 2012 used car from Wayzata Nissan intending to fund it thru a loan. Lender sent me a check with both Dealer name and my name on it. Dealer did not accept that check. Dealer told me th intending to fund it thru a loan. Lender sent me a check with both Dealer name and my name on it. Dealer did not accept that check. Dealer told me they accept only wire transfer or cashier check. Lender wouldn't send money via wire transfer or cashier check. So when I received the check, we took it to the bank, they did not accept it either because Dealer did endorse. So We bought a cashier check from our own money and paid to the dealer. I asked Dealer to endorese the check, they wouldn't do it. So we are stuck between this extemely adamant nature dealer and the lender. Also, by endorsing the check, we are asking dealer to put the lender in the lien. Dealer tried to sell their Loan Program and their products, I did not buy them, so they took revenge on me. So I'm extremely dis-satisfied with the dealer behaviour. However I had good experience with sales person Tom Johson. I will not step into that dealer anymore. More
