I was in for an express oil change not expecting anything else but I was informed a tire rotation happens when oil is changed so that was done too. Then they looked at the filters inside my car and showed me else but I was informed a tire rotation happens when oil is changed so that was done too. The communication throughout my service process was extremely poor. When called to schedule my appointment (several weeks ahead of time), I was told to drop it off in the morning and they would need i extremely poor. The day before my scheduled drop off, they told me it would need to stay overnight. When I arrived in person for my appointment, they told me it they would need to keep it all weekend. At no point was I provided alternative transportation solution for the extended period I needed to leave my car. I was told the reason for the extended time was that they need to start taking apart parts of the engine until they could find the reason the engine light was coming on. I also asked for a quote of the cost for the work and requested that if they thought it would take more than agreed time or cost, to call me before moving forward with the work. I was never called and yet given a final bill that was $100 more than the quote with no explanation as to why it was more. The technitjon video of work done noted that they weren’t certain they found the problem, and that if the problem countries to bring it back in so they could keep looking into the engine. Which is confusing because I was told a thorough review was the reason it needed to be kept for so long. I asked that someone call me to explain the bill and the extra charges, but my service coordinator continued to text me, unsuccessfully trying to explain the situation. I asked for the initial quote to be honored as I was never consulted about the extra charges (as I had requested), which was not agreed to. I got so frustrated with texting back and forth with no progress that I just gave up so I could be done with the experience. This was a terrible custer service experience that left me with very little answers about what was fixed and what I really paid for, and no confidence that I will be treated fairly and with transparency about any future services. I went there for a recall and oil change, the recall was free, the oil change was the most expensive oil change I have had for any and all of my vehicles.
