I had been searching for a car for months (some might say years..) when I saw a short description of an Outback XT on Craigslist. I called the number, talked with Roman, and he gave me a fair price over the phone. He mentioned that the car was being worked on and getting a new turbo in their shop, so I agreed to come down and take a look. Roman was very friendly, easy to talk to and didn't play games - the opposite of most salesmen I usually run into. He showed me the car, which I couldn't drive since the engine was taken apart, but he was very honest with me regarding the work being performed. Since the Outback was in their shop, he drove me back to the Used car offices, while we talked about the price. Again, Roman was straightforward when I asked if there was any room for negotiation on the price, which there wasn't (It was below the average asking price for an Outback XT with low miles), so we agreed on the price. I asked if what he could do on my trade, and he gave me a very fair offer on my old Jeep. We got back to the dealership and he made me feel right at home, offering friendly service, water, coffee, anything I could have wanted. The purchase process was very smooth, and I never felt pressured. After making the initial purchase, there was some waiting for the car to be fixed. After the mechanics got deeper into the engine, they determined it needed replacement, so they went ahead and replaced basically the whole engine, with a new block, turbo, and most accessories, at no expense to me. Once I got the vehicle, I broke in the new engine and got my first oil change for free. The car has been trouble free, runs great, feels great and I couldn't be happier with the service from Roman and the rest of the team at Walker's Renton Subaru! Thank you Roman! More
Robert did a really great job selling us our car - he was very friendly and extremely helpful. The car had a tick in the engine when we got it home and the transmission fluid was poor when it was inspected b very friendly and extremely helpful. Although this was a hassle and it made the car buying process very stressful, Robert made sure I could get the car fixed and a loaner lined up. The engine tick was resolved but I did end up having to pay out of pocket to flush the transmission which was disappointing. However, Robert was wonderful and I would highly recommend that someone buy a car from him. He stayed late, he was very responsive and he was incredibly friendly to us. He was the best part of our experience at Walker Subaru. More

We spent over two weeks asking questions, driving different vehicles, working on pricing and trade-in value, checking out the service department, and overall quality of the dealership and staff. We have a special needs daughter, and Diane was incredibly great with her as well. We finally selected and purchased a brand new 2014 Forester Premium, in the new green jasmine color. We could not be more pleased, or recommend more highly, Diane, and Walkers Renton Subaru. This new, fully re-designed Forester, is truly something to behold. If you see it, drive it, and research it, you will easily see why we made our decision. After several month's of traveling to other manufacturer dealerships, and spending alot of time onlne, we knew we wanted a Subaru. lWhile rating's are only up to 5 in this format, it would be a 10+ if it went higher! This dealership is a rare find indeed! More

I had a pretty good experience buying my new Subaru Forester at Renton Subaru. I test drove it on Saturday and felt good enough about that experience to go back the next day and buy the car. It was pretty busy on Sunday, so the timing was a little slow (interrupted). But Roman was very clear about what the features of the car were and on the pricing for everything. Also, I told him what I wanted to have as a final monthly payment, and he was able to arrange a little lower pricing so it ended up really close to where I needed it. Also, he followed up quickly on the one work item (installation of heaters in seats) and that appointment is already scheduled. ** Best personal service of all, Roman himself got a screw driver and transferred my Seattle Sounders licence plate holder from my trade-in vehicle to my new Subaru! ** - Jessica Jansen More

It makes me feel safe to buy car from the certified dealer, and I do get good price on extension service. I am a UW Chinese student, have very little knowledge on buying a used car from dealer. I first looked up some ads online from dealer's website and craiglist. I found the car with internet price matches with KBB value. Then I left my contact info on dealer's website and in less than 10 minutes I got response from the dealer. He said the car had already went to auction but confirmed he could get the car to me if I am really interested. I went to the dealer and he just got the car back from the auction place. The car looks good to me, though some cosmetics but worth the price. He offered the exact internet price online, which make me feel very reasonable( not many dealers will honor the internet price). He spent quite a long time showing me the car and we did a test drive. He spent another hour explaining all the taxes and registrations in details, and tried to give me a good trade-in price for my used car. Although I am expecting a few hundreds more on my trade-in price, however, it does cut the tax off the new car (and later I found it matches with KBB trade-in price). Another dealer who offered the trade-in price was $500 (20%) less than here. He showed me the carfax and auto check scores of the new car, and explained some terms on those. After I made the decision, we went to BOA together to purchase the cashier's check. Then we went to the office to have some paperwork done. I got the recommended extension service, after almost one hour inquiry(I asked the figures for all plans). After I left with my new car, I got a phone call from the dealer about I left my Goodtogo pass on the old car, and I went back to get it. He also helped me on querying other add-on price afterwards.
