Subaru of Puyallup/Harnish Auto Family do not honor their - C
Subaru of Puyallup/Harnish Auto Family do not honor their own written price-match confirmations. I was handed down to Chris Alatorre after the salesperson I was originally working with left for an undisclosed period of time. From the start, it felt like Chris lacked basic engagement, though there were acceptable moments. I passed along a competitor's written lease offer for an Outback and asked if Puyallup can price match or do better, and Chris explicitly wrote back: "matching the deal is the best that we can do."
After finalizing my search, I contacted Chris to send over the secure credit link to finalize the transaction, as I considered Puyallup my home dealer since this is where I originally acquired and consistently service my Forester. Chris and Subaru of Puyallup then completely backtracked on his written commitment, replying: "I'm not even close to being able to match something like that."
Honoring your word and following through on written commitments is the baseline of good business practice, and this dealership completely failed that standard. Disappointing and highly unprofessional.
If we are all ok to namedropping positive experiences, we should be ok doing the same for negative ones as well.
