Kim at the front desk was professional, courteous and extremely helpful. It's been a while since I was able to take my Forester in for maintenance, and Kim took care of everything. She even honored our Free First car wash that we were supposed to get when we first bought the Forester, which was about 2 years ago! Thank you Kim for your great, friendly service! A Thank You also goes out to the regional rep. - Roger (?) who , from what I understand, allowed the repairs to go forward. Also , the friendly service / parts dept. staff , loaner car , clean waiting area with magazines & free popcorn (!) made my wait a pleasant experience & a loyal customer. For me, it has been many years since I've purchased a new automobile. I am thankful for the wide array of tools now available online to help with decision and pricing. I used a car buying service and Walker's Renton Subaru was the program dealership for the greater Seattle area. I had much respect for the service I used and believed a dealership became part of the program due to its reputation and performance. In hindsight, I am very satisfied this was the case. My experience at Walker's Renton Subaru was superb. I believe I received a fair price, and was dealt with professionally. Also, my time and intelligence was respected. Because of the high demand for Foresters, I purchased my vehicle off a production queue. I was a bit apprehensive, but it was the vehicle I wanted. And, ultimately it was worth the wait. There were also cost benefits in having options installed at the port. My only disappointment in this car buying experience was Subaru's poor tracking of its vehicles from factory to dealership. This created a serious issue for me when my vehicle didn't arrive by an anticipated date. It was not Walker's Renton Subaru's fault at all. In fact, I believed they did everything in their power to avoid this issue. Ultimately Walker's Renton met my need in an extraordinary way, and I am extremely thankful to them. My Forester finally arrived, and it exceeded my expectations. I recommend Walker's Renton Subaru without hesitation. More

There was no pressure to add items I didn't want. The price was fair, and actually better than I anticipated. And there was no "hand-off" to someone else. I felt respected and valued. We started on truecar.com and heard from Travis very quickly. We did not hear from the other Subaru dealerships in the area, but decided to go to a closer dealership first. While they were polite and helpful during the test drive, they were pretty clear about not budging on price. We wouldn't have considered the Renton location because of the distance from our house, but Travis called again and was very helpful. I gave him the details about the vehicle we were looking for and he was able to give me a quote at the price we were looking for. I was a little nervous about putting a deposit down before seeing the final car, but it worked out great. We got the car with the additions we were looking for within a little over 24 hours of our first conversation. After driving there, the transaction took about 90 minutes and were pleased that the finance manager didn't try to push the extended warranties or service packages too much. We would definitely recommend that our friends go through Travis Smith. He was the right blend of persistent and helpful and is the only reason we made it to this location. More
Jerry was great. He didn't pressure us, he even called in a guy from the Mazda side of the dealership to help us compare and test drive the CX-5 to help us make our decision. At a different dealer we felt all kinds of pressure and after leaving were basically harassed every day about whether or not we would be buying a car from them. At this dealer after providing our phone at both the Mazda and Subaru places in order to do a test drive, they gave us back the card they wrote the number on after the drive to let us know they weren't going to use it to keep calling us. The finance guys were both honest and didn't try to convince us to get things we didn't need just to drive up the price. I would certainly go here again. More

I bought a car and under extraordinary circumstances actually had to return it back to the dealership. Tom was a new salesman, but did a thorough job of showing me the vehicle. The manager there did everything he could to try and make good on the vehicle (no fault of theirs) and was very understanding of my situation. I gave them all 5's because the end result...these people made me feel like a person and not a sale. They even offered me a great deal on a newer vehicle that was very hard to pass up, but wasn't in my budget at the time. Service guys were great too. I would recommend these guys for service and sales. More
