Walker’s Renton Subaru is a great dealership with an easy to work with staff. Joy helped us find a car that met all our wishes (and more) and it was very easy to come to an agreement on a fair deal. I think we got a great car for an extremely reasonable price and we were able to get it done in 2 short visits: one to test drive and one to buy. At Walker’s we got a test drive, learned about the car and then left them to find the best match for what we wanted in a car at a price point we could afford. The next day we walked in, picked out the exact one we wanted, ironed out the final price, signed the papers and drove home. Other dealerships in the area we visited passed us from salesman to sales manager and back, left us waiting in offices while they added unwanted features to the bill and then took them off again so they looked like they were giving us a deal of some sort, and basically tried to keep us in the dealership all day so we’d finally give in to buying a car. One dealership never bothered to ask what features we actually wanted in a car, but called us three times in 24 hours to remind us that there were only 3 left of the model we test drove left on their lot and that we should take their offer fast. At Walker’s I didn’t feel like they were playing any sort games to get a few extra dollars out of me. It’s nice to be able to enjoy spending money on a car-- instead of a week of haggling over nickel and dime adjustments to the sales price. In the end I feel that I got a great deal that was easy to agree upon, a great car that exceeds my expectations on all levels, and that they will likely get my business again. The car I bought drove well and ran well, but the check engine light came on on the way home. Turned out the coil was bad on one cylinder and it had a burnt valve. Alden was sincerely friendly,identified what I was looking for (in vehicle and budget) and worked with me to get as close to the "right deal" as possible. I would certainly recommend Alden and Walker's Subaru to anyone who wants to be treated with respect and honesty during the, sometimes painful, experience of buying a new car. We had to provide a check to the dealership and she drove to our house to get the check so we didn't have to go back the next day. She is very friendly and has a great personality. She wasn't pushy at all and worked very hard to get us the price we wanted. The second day when my wife came with me she was helping train another salesman and he too was very friendly and went on a test drive with us and explained some more about the car.
