We thought since we were returning customers, they would treat us like loyal consumers. Nope! Lo, and behold! They offered us security vault for the lease car which wasn't even compatible with the newer leased Subaru. We paid extra for nothing, all for the intent of cranking up the final price of the leased car. Now, when that vault security had to be canceled because it's not compatible, they're giving us a hard time returning our hard earned money. Really, Walker's Subaru! More

When I arrived there was confusion that I indeed did have an appointment. I wanted the battery checked out because my brand new car (less than 5000 miles) had died and had to be jumped. Since the jump and driving it the car has started fine, however as i explained to the service department I just wanted it checked because it threw a lot of codes. I was told that would be a diagnostic appointment (which is what I scheduled) and they would likely need to keep my vehicle overnight. I explained that wasn’t an option for me as I a. Don’t live in that town and b. Was flying out the next day at 6am. Finally the man decided he could bring the diagnostic tool to the parking lot and plug it into my car. This took less than 10 minutes so I’m not sure why overnight would have been required. There was 1 faulty code that he cleared. I asked if. Could at least still get my oil changed. He said yes and passed me along to the express lube department. Here I explained again that I would like my battery looked at because it died and it appeared there was corrosion on the battery. 3 hours later (for an oil change) I was ready to check out. I asked what they said about the battery. She said “oh they didn’t look at the battery that would have been an additional service and more time” and “ that it wasn’t noted in the order to check”. I was so frustrated and angry at this point I thought it best not to say anything as any words would have likely been inappropriate. I paid and walked out. From the minute I walked in the staff seemed put out that they had to do their job. Also, there were several others that had been waiting hours for an oil change as well. Another lady with an appointment was basically told it didn’t matter she had an appointment and she’d have to wait 2-3 hours for an oil change. Overall, very disappointing service. More
The $175 diagnostic fee they changed me to diagnose a grinding problem under the hood was wasted money. They missed the real problem, and came back with recommendations totaling nearly $15,000 in mostly grinding problem under the hood was wasted money. They missed the real problem, and came back with recommendations totaling nearly $15,000 in mostly unnecessary work on my car. Additionally, the list of recommendations included incomplete cost of parts. We took my car elsewhere, where the problem was accurately diagnosed and repaired. More
