Fathers & Sons was a great dealer to work with. No pressure, lots of information and very friendly people in all the departments. I have been to other Porsche dealers and they were a little more stuf pressure, lots of information and very friendly people in all the departments. I have been to other Porsche dealers and they were a little more stuffy and not as good on a one to one basis as F & S. The rides back and forth to the airport also made my decision about a good dealership a little easier. I also want to thank Chuck Plakias for being so helpful. He is a true Porsche lover and it shows in his knowledge and courtesy that he displayed to me. Thanks Guys...I love it. More

I was in the market for a car, I was unsure which direction I wanted to take. The conservative side of me was thinking about a 2013 Audi S5 Cabrio, the other side wanted to get another Porsche, the direction I wanted to take. The conservative side of me was thinking about a 2013 Audi S5 Cabrio, the other side wanted to get another Porsche, the last one I owned was 10 years ago. I narrowed my purchase to a 2013 S5 Cabrio, finding a 997.2 C2S with CPO, or ordering a 2013 Boxster S. I e-mailed many dealers about ordering a Boxster S, the response I received from Fathers and Sons was from Damon, his communication was truly outstanding compared to the other dealers. After several weeks went by I finally decided I wanted to test drive the 3 cars back to back. Damon set me up with Derek. Derek and I set a date and time, when I arrived he had all the cars ready for me, he was an outstanding person to deal with. This was by far my best test drive experience I have ever been on and I have been on dozens. Derek spent the time to talk to me about each car as well as some things we have in common, both being Car Guys made it easy. I was so happy to have someone at a dealership that knew as much about the cars as I do, 99% of the time I know much more than any of the salesman and they always quote things that are not correct. Notice how I did not reference Derek as a Salesman, to me that is a compliment to him. He did not push anything on me, he just offered his advice based on his experience with the cars, he sincerely wanted me to buy the car that was best for me. I ended up buying the CPO 911 and I could not be happier, the car is absolutely amazing. The young lady that did my financing was outstanding as well, I am sorry I do not recall her name. I decided I wanted to get a Clear Bra installed, that is where Steve got involved, Derek was going to Florida and would not be around that weekend. I booked dropping the car off that Sunday night to have the Clear Bra completed Monday. It ended up snowing Saturday night and I did not want to drive in the salt/sand, I e-mailed Steve/Derek and Steve took care of it, told me to reach out when I was ready. I rescheduled for Tuesday drop off, Steve was outstanding, I must have e-mailed him several dozen times with questions and he responded every time in a timely manner with answers. He was a true pleasure to deal with. He also provided a loaner car, that made it much more convienent. Today I picked up my car, Steve again was a pleasure to deal with. Both Steve and Derek both mentioned they have enthusiast get togethers on certain weekend mornings as well, they asked if I would like to attend, very nice of them. I will tell everyone I know about the experience I had at Father and Sons, I have already posted it on Rennlist and 6-Speed (Porsche Forums). I will be back, my wife will be replacing her Minivan in a few years with an SUV, now I just need Audi to update the Q7 like Mercedes did the GL so I can stick with the Audi/Porsche/VW brand. Thank you very much!!!!!!! More
After searching for quite some time for a pre-owned Porsche Cayman, I located a low-mileage, meticulous 2008 Cayman at Fathers and Sons. Steve Langieri assisted me and he couldn't have been nicer. No Porsche Cayman, I located a low-mileage, meticulous 2008 Cayman at Fathers and Sons. Steve Langieri assisted me and he couldn't have been nicer. No pressure, just an honest salesman helping me get into the right car. So far, I'm very impressed with Fathers and Sons, namely Steve Langieri. More
This is the 5th car we have purchased from Fathers and Sons. I have worked with Vin before and called him directly to inquire about finding a new Q7 for my wife. We closed the deal in less than 24 hours a Sons. I have worked with Vin before and called him directly to inquire about finding a new Q7 for my wife. Finan particular vehicle I was looking for. The staff in general was friendly and they we willing to negotiate a fair price to work within my budget. Financing was made easy and they made efforts to deliver and register the car to my home state so I would not keep having to drive the 2 hours to the dealership. I was looking for a new, fun, sporty, all-wheel-drive car. I had two vehicles in mind: the Audi A4 and the Subaru WRX or STI. I first visited Steve Lewis Subaru where I was warmly greeted by Jesse Bilode car. I had two vehicles in mind: the Audi A4 and the Subaru WRX or STI. I first visited Steve Lewis Subaru where I was warmly greeted by Jesse Bilodeau. I told him what I was looking for and that I would not be making a purchasing decision for a couple months when a raise at work would come through. Jesse answered all of my questions, gave me tons of information and invited me to test drive the car, which I did. I was quite impressed with both the vehicle and the service I received. (It was clear he did not judge me based on the beat up minivan I drove into the parking lot with, or the fact I wasn't buying for 2 months). A week later, I went to Fathers and Sons where they sell Audi's. I was not greeted until I hovered near the salesman's desk. I explained what I was looking for and my timeframe. When I mentioned the competition, the salesman said 'Why would you want to look at that? It's a tin can.' (Exact quote). I was not shown any vehicle and I was encouraged to come back in January when I was ready to buy. As it had been a week since I had driven the Subaru, and really wanting to drive a car that day, I went back to Steve Lewis Subaru where Jesse very kindly assisted me further and invited me to drive the car a second time which I did. I can only imagine I was prejudged at Fathers and Sons based on the fact I drove in the lot with a beat up minivan (the reason I wanted a new, fun car!) Somewhat to my surprise, a week later I was promotedat work and the raise I expected in January came through immediately and was even larger than I expected. I toyed with the idea of going back to Fathers and Sons to drive the Audi which I had also heard very good things about, but I thought about the service I received and decided that's not the place I want to form a relationship with at this point. Besides, I had fallen in love with the WRX...having been allowed to drive it twice already. I called up Steve Lewis Subaru and made a deposit over the phone, then went down two days later to work out the deal. I am now the proud owner of a nifty new 2013 Subaru WRX. I only hope that when the kids graduate from college and it's time to by the Porsche 911 of my dreams, Fathers and Sons will treat me like the real buyer I am. Fathers and Sons, here's a tip: you'll sell more cars by building value than by disparaging the competition. If someone comes in looking for a car...even in two months, show it to them. Let 'em drive it. Make them fall in love with it. I might very well have fallen in love with the A4. We'll never know. More
We have bought 4 Audis and 1 VW from Fathers and Sons over the past several years. We had them all serviced at F&S. Their service department is very friendly and helpful, though we have noticed that, o over the past several years. We had them all serviced at F&S. Their service department is very friendly and helpful, though we have noticed that, once our cars are out of warranty, they tend to have some sort of trouble within 10 days of our getting any sort of service, so we always have to go back for more work. I can't prove a connection, but it is suspicious. Anyway, it is time for me to trade in my 2003 A4 (105,000 miles), so we contacted F&S to ask them to find us an AWD A3. The internet sales department contacted us with "GOOD NEWS" that they had what I was looking for in stock. They, in fact, had no such thing. Upon further communication, another internet salesperson emailed and said that A3s are hard to find, but he'd look for one if I really wanted him to. Seriously, don't bother, buddy. I'm in no mood to beg you to take my money. In the meantime, my husband was communicating with the same salesperson and salesman told my husband that they would only give us $1000 for my trade-in, because the service department reports that it needs "thousands of dollars of repairs." WHAT? The service department has been trying to convince me to keep the car, saying that the needed repairs are "not that expensive." The estimates they've given me are nowhere near the amount the salesman is claiming. And according to KBB, even in "Fair" condition, my car is worth $4600 on trade-in. Are most of their customers idiots who would believe this baloney? F&S can kiss my sweet boopy goodbye. More
Very friendly when you buy a car. Promising 5 star service and as soon as they hear word SAAB wouldn't pick up the phone, or return calls. When they do they just say you are screwed. Wouldn't even giv service and as soon as they hear word SAAB wouldn't pick up the phone, or return calls. When they do they just say you are screwed. Wouldn't even give suggestion or work with you on the price of service even thou it's suppose to have a warranty. I understand anything may happen but ignoring your own customers that leave 100s thousands of dollars with you over last 7 years is just crazy. Avoid! More
I have just purchased my eighth vehicle from Fathers and Sons since 1986 and as always a great experience. I wanted to factory order a 2012 Audi S5 but was too late. The car I wanted was found at another de Sons since 1986 and as always a great experience. I wanted to factory order a 2012 Audi S5 but was too late. The car I wanted was found at another dealer and within a day it was obtained for me. I wanted different tires on the car and Vin got them and will have them installed at a fair price. I was more than pleased with the deal that Vin and I reached and look forward to taking delivery next week. Overall Fathers and Sons make buying a new car even a greater experience than just the excitment of getting a new car. More
