By far the worst car experience ever. Made me feel bad for wanting a good deal, cars were not detailed at all, most had stains and discolorations throughout Interior. Made me come down two times in one day to buy the car, and neither time was the car on the lot, they had given it to someone else and didn't know how to get in touch with them. They told us the car was ours and we had a deal. They would call us to let us know when the car came back and was clean. Then they called several hours later to tell me they sold it to someone else. THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH. When they told the GM they didn't have the car the second time we were there to buy, and we were leaving, he didn't even get out of his seat. Left and went to LEXIS dealership 1/2 mile away and bought a far superior car, in terms of how clean it was and with more features for the same money. And the dealership treated us with unbelievable respect. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. More
I have just returned after 6 years of owning a c70 Volvo to buy another one from Tom Calkins, he is a great salesman and never pushy. I began working with Jim Carpenter a few weeks before I actually found the right vehicle. Jim did a great job of staying in contact with me, eventually sending me an email with info on the perfect car that actually found the right vehicle. Jim did a great job of staying in contact with me, eventually sending me an email with info on the perfect car that would meet our size and budget requirements. When I went by the dealership to see the vehicle, Jim was not in, so I was assisted by John Fitzpatrick. I ended up concluding the deal with John's assistance, and then completed delivery a couple days later with Jim. Jim has continued his follow up after the sale, to make sure that everything was right with the vehicle. We have been very pleased with the entire process. More

I called Jim with a question on a car I saw online. He answered all of my questions and pointed out some benefits about the car in a non salesy manner. When I showed up to look at the car, he was working answered all of my questions and pointed out some benefits about the car in a non salesy manner. When I showed up to look at the car, he was working with another customer, but asked John to look out for me. Both gentlemen were professional, good humored and didn't play the "what kind of payment are you looking at game" which is a major turnoff to me. Mat in the finance department is a gem as well. There is a reason Jim and John have been there seven years and Mat 10 years. They are good at what they do. More

No hassle, no bargaining...just "...here's what I want...", "...we'll get it for you....here it is!"....and Tom Calkins, Matt, and W'County staff. Tom makes me and my wife happy to buy and...when my wife is happy....you know the rest! I didn't even know that I needed a new car. p.s. if you're reading this and don't own a Volvo, call Tom Calkins! More
I do not like to shop for vehicles. I know what I want and do most of my shopping before ever going to a dealership. When I contacted Jim Carpenter, he negotiated with me over e-mail until I was satisfied enough that I could get what I was looking for and be comfortable with the price. Needless to say, I went back to Jim a second time and had the same wonderful experience. He is very knowledgeable about how the entire process works and was willing to assist me with the details. I am very happy wiht Volvos (this is my fourth, third from this dealership)and this dealership is always easy to work with on service, etc. I recommend Jim to anyone and you will really enjoy his stories!!! I also appreciate how he continues to check on me to see if everything is going well with my vehicle. More
My experience was positive. Yet, unique. I went in with my daughter to look for a new car on a Friday evening and by the next Wednesday evening, she bought a car and so did I. I've always loved Volvo for their safety ratings, and now I love them for their looks too. Our sales person was not available the Wednesday evening we stopped in, therefore, Ken stepped in. He was great to work with. Quick to react and respond. He answered my questions and was to the point. Within minutes of my arrival Wednesday evening, he had me test driving the car I liked and answered all of my questions. The financing was also quick, and painless. Often you sit through lengthy conversations regarding extra warranties and so on. Ken was quick and to the point again. Understanding our driving situation and need regarding our existing cars, he had everything narrowed down to just a couple of choices for us to review. Overall, great experience. More
