I was quite pleased to get an appointment as soon as I could. Also, they took my car in immediately and I was able to wait for it. I loved that they washed my car and cleaned my mats! could. I’m going to give an overall experience rating on the vehicle I purchased. I purchased the car on 1/10 & that night when we came home I was putting my wife’s stuff in the back of the car when I opened t vehicle I purchased. I purchased the car on 1/10 & that night when we came home I was putting my wife’s stuff in the back of the car when I opened the rear hatch & broken glass started to fall out of it, the rear window had previously been broke. We brought the car back to the dealership & it was there around two weeks. They had to replace the rear window because apparently whom ever installed it previously didn’t do it correctly. When we picked it up there was still glass moving around in the rear hatch the tech couldn’t get it out I’m not sure why they would even call me when it wasn’t taken care of. Then I was told the only way it could be fixed was to have the rear hatch replaced. We brought it back the car was there for two weeks again. When we picked it up instead of replacing the hatch like I was told a tech was able to drill holes in the hatch behind the trim to remove what he could & adhere the rest. When we picked up the car there was very little movement of the pieces of broken glass so it was better but not what I was told was going to be done. When we got the car back we noticed streaks on the windshield that wouldn’t clean off we attested them to just being dirty but they wouldn’t clean off. The windshield was extremely had to see out if especially at night. I emailed the sales manager he said to bring it back however before we could the following week the car went into low power mode when my wife was driving it so she brought it back to the dealer for service. It was there again for two weeks because the fuel pump needed to be replaced. I was told there was nothing that could be done with the windshield by the dealership they don’t know what I did to it but I could pay to replace it. At this point I owned the car for less than two months it has spent almost its whole time of my ownership at the dealership the odds are some sort of dust from the body shop got on the windshield then the wipers caused the scratches. When my wife dropped it off the sales manager told her they would take care of it and again nobody did what they said because I was told if I want a windshield that they would sell it to me at cost because they don’t know what I did to it. When we purchased the car we had high expectations of a certified preowned Volvo. This was our first Volvo & had owned other cpo’s in the past. Unfortunately the car wasn’t anywhere close to what we expected. I asked the sales manager what we could do to get out of it, for a short time he said I could pick another car out but we decided to stick with the one we purchased. Then after the low power & windshield issue I asked him again what we could do to get out of the car we just want to move on. He said he would give me trade in value only much less than I bought it for if I purchased another vehicle but would not buy it outright. I checked & Carmax gave me a better offer than West County Volvo but still not close to what I paid for it. So we owned the car for about two months while it spent at least 80% of the time we owned it sitting at the dealership. We had only put roughly a thousand miles on the car but decided it was best to take a loss & move on. I’m not expecting anything out of this I should have seen some of the red flags earlier in the process. More
