Going into many other dealerships I felt like I was just a number, and in some cases wasn't even given the time of the day! Just because I'm younger than the normal demograph for luxury vehicles doesn't mean I haven't worked my butt and can afford it. The salesman, Tom Calkins, treated me as one would a friend, trying to get me exactly what I wanted with a budget in mind. Being kind, personable, and passionite about what you do goes a long way and I could tell Tom really knows his stuff! The day after purchasing (on a Sunday) he called to ensure everything was still going great and checking up to see if I had any additional questions. It was great to get that call as I was already starting to make the list of things in my head thay I wanted to look up about the vehicle. Tom answered them immediately and encouraged to call him if I had any additional questions. Tom is definitely a winner in my book! If you're in the market for a Volvo (or even something used), do yourself a favor, go see Tom..TRUST ME!! More

Found my dealer 386 miles away after exhaustive search. My goals for a new vehicle were specific... 4 passengers, 4 sets of golf clubs, killer sound system, all the power options and technology, burn regula My goals for a new vehicle were specific... 4 passengers, 4 sets of golf clubs, killer sound system, all the power options and technology, burn regular gas, comfortable luxurious interior, 6 seconds to 60 mph AND $500 per month lease. I reviewed 50 vehicles from 11 manufacturers with tape measure in hand. Most wouldn't hold 4 sets of golf clubs. Many needed premium gas. I settled on a Lexus ES350 sedan or the Volvo XC60 T6 AWD Inscription. My local Volvo dealer was helpful but there were no loaded up models with beige interior. His search for a dealer trade was into its second week when I started my own search on volvocars.com. After cancelling an unpleasant transaction with another dealer, I called West County Volvo for the most professional and courteous experience that I could have ever dreamed. I imagine getting all the information you need with no pressure. I really appreciate it. Couldn't be happier. I hopped on a plane to St Louis and drove my new vehicle 386 miles home! The travel expense and time was worth it. More
