We worked out the trade-in and final purchase price in one or two calls. I picked up the car the next day and my in person experience was as good as the telephone experience. Mat decided to give me a nasty apology and tried to tell me he was saying "good luck with the car"!!! I told him it was demeaning and he said "I SAID I WAS SORRY" in a loud mean manner. I am not ever going back. That was the lamest apology for nasty customer service ever. Thanks Mat for taking away a happy moment for my 80 year old mom's car purchase!! More

Bad News I purchased a certified vehicle which needed repairs after some time. I was told the repairs were covered under the warranty (certification) however I purchased a certified vehicle which needed repairs after some time. I was told the repairs were covered under the warranty (certification) however when I went to pick up the vehicle, I was given a $375 bill. They claimed I misunderstood ( which I did not) and bottom line was I had to pay 1/2 of the repair even though they told me differently when i took the vehicle in for repair. Later, I decided to sell the vehicle and we arrived at a price, if the vehicle "checked out" After waiting two days, I returned as the car met their specifications. The night I was called and informed the approval of the deal, I went to the dealership to pick up the check and my plates. I learned my plates were destroyed, even though we had reached a deal 10 minutes prior. I was told it would only cost around 40 dollars for new plates. I wonder if my plates are running around on some other vehicle. I will never return to West County Volvo More

I was a bit indecisive when it came to specific models but very bullheaded when it came to features. Tom was patient and incredibly helpful throughout my search. From our first test drive, in the pouring rain, to our first service call it was like working with a friend. When it came time for the inevitable price negotiation Tom truly set us at ease and was very understanding of our needs and goals as we purchased our XC 60.
