Excellent overall service I purchased my S70 GLT Volvo, 19 years ago and I have had outstanding service from the Service Center with the help of Mr. Joseph Devlin (Service Mana I purchased my S70 GLT Volvo, 19 years ago and I have had outstanding service from the Service Center with the help of Mr. Joseph Devlin (Service Manager) and Mr. Steve (Mechanic). I have my repairs completed at Herb Gordon Volvo because of the honesty and the service provided when taking care of my vehicle. Mr. Devlin will explain the service needed and he will turn a stressful day and turn it around. Mr. Steve is a fantastic mechanic and fixes the vehicle to where you feel comfortable after leaving. Herb Gordon thank you for having these two gentlemen in your employee. It is a very friendly and professional atmosphere at Herb Gordon Volvo. More

Excellent customer service When I called to get an appointment for regular maintenance service. I was able to get my car in the same week. When I got to the dealer, my service adviser went over the repairs for regular maintenance service. I asked for the cost, and he gave me an estimate. I left the car that evening, and was give a loaner. The next day, I received a call, explaining additional repairs. I agreed to have the work done. He told me the car would be ready around 5:30pm - 6:00pm. On my arrival he went over the work done in detail. My car was washed, and I was riding in a very smooth running vehicle. I am very pleased from the beginning, to the end of this appointment. More

I will never buy another Volvo here and neither will anyone I know. I am a life long Volvo owner (the last was my fifth) and my first lasted 15 years. I can't wait to unload this death trap before the rest of the brake system fails and injures my family or someone else. I have never seen so many people shrug their shoulders on something a dealership with integrity would have covered. I will never drive to Maryland to Herb Gordon's again, even if they were giving prizes away or a car was free. I messed up in trusting this dealership...don't make the same mistake. More

I bought a new Volvo here a couple months ago. There was a manufacturing defect on the front passenger seat which the dealership agreed to fix. The dealer finally got the part in, so I expected my perfect n a manufacturing defect on the front passenger seat which the dealership agreed to fix. The dealer finally got the part in, so I expected my perfect new car when I went to pick it up from the shop after work. However, the seat is now in worse condition than when I dropped it off. The part may be new, but the work is shoddy and was done incorrectly. To top things off, the sales manager was rude- he would not acknowledge the shoddy work and he would not commit to seeing through a satisfactory conclusion. My initial sales experience was good, but don't accept any car from them unless it is pristine- and don't take it there for service. More

Took my S40 in for a major service and a recall repair. When I got the car home it had an overwhelming gas smell, that had never occurred before. Took it back and was told to burn premium for a while to see if that would clear it up. It did not, took it back for a third time and was told there was a pin hole leak in a hose. $350 to fix a problem that did not exist until they worked on my car. Have had other experiences having to take the car back multiple times to get it fixed right. Now I have been taken. I will be finding a different Volvo service center. More

We drive 45 minutes instead of going to Koons right up the street from us..our experience at Koons has been horrible for sales..lied to..and service...no loaners, don't fix things right, disrespectful. Her Gordon has been the opposite...good price, found what we wanted,service is good and always get a nice loaner, work is done on time. We bought cars initially from Ben, I think his name was, who then went on to working on internet sales and then left..we were very sad..he was a big asset to the company.. very nice for sales and drove our car from Balto. to dealership for service..very polite. Jose who does our service now is very nice as well..it is just a pleasure to deal with. i got stuck in Bethesda once and the volvo dealer, Martins I think, would not tow my car or fix it right away...so i had to get Herb Gordon to come tow it, fix it next day, and of course gave me a loaner More
