I bought a new Volvo here a couple months ago. There was a manufacturing defect on the front passenger seat which the dealership agreed to fix. The dealer finally got the part in, so I expected my perfect new car when I went to pick it up from the shop after work. However, the seat is now in worse condition than when I dropped it off. The part may be new, but the work is shoddy and was done incorrectly. To top things off, the sales manager was rude- he would not acknowledge the shoddy work and he would not commit to seeing through a satisfactory conclusion. My initial sales experience was good, but don't accept any car from them unless it is pristine- and don't take it there for service. More
Took my S40 in for a major service and a recall repair. When I got the car home it had an overwhelming gas smell, that had never occurred before. It did not, took it back for a third time and was told there was a pin hole leak in a hose. $350 to fix a problem that did not exist until they worked on my car. Have had other experiences having to take the car back multiple times to get it fixed right. Now I have been taken. I will be finding a different Volvo service center. More

Her Gordon has been the opposite...good price, found what we wanted,service is good and always get a nice loaner, work is done on time. We bought cars initially from Ben, I think his name was, who then went on to working on internet sales and then left..we were very sad..he was a big asset to the company.. very nice for sales and drove our car from Balto. to dealership for service..very polite. Jose who does our service now is very nice as well..it is just a pleasure to deal with. i got stuck in Bethesda once and the volvo dealer, Martins I think, would not tow my car or fix it right away...so i had to get Herb Gordon to come tow it, fix it next day, and of course gave me a loaner More
