When we are there we feel that we are viewed as undeserving of a Volvo. During the last service visit which was to be short, Adam announced the recall parts were there and they would be installed. undeserving of a Volvo. I called at 3pm and was told that car would not be ready till 4pm or 4:30pm. I asked if we could pick it up in the morning and was told that was okay. Just a few minutes later, Adam called and said the car was ready. I told him we were dependent on Public Transit and it would take a long time to get there. We called again at 5pm and said we might be late. During this time we were being texted constantly! We are Not tech savvy and would prefer No Texts! The car was not washed we received a car wash coupon which we thought was inappropriate for this level of car. There were numerous greasy fingerprints on the doors and glass. We do not use car wash. Had an Awesome Experience at Bob Byers Volvo dealership The people were kind and friendly. The dealership was setup for social distancing and everyone was wearing masks and gloves. My vehicle was perfectly prepped when I got there and Austin my dealer made sure all my questions were answered. I was able to get in and out when it was time to pick up my vehicle in 20-30 minutes. Navid Haq took great care of me. Mathew booked me in when I dropped off car. Loved that Navid text me with info and that I could pay invoice right on my cell. Everyone is super courteous and helpful. Great Dealer Service - Software Design/Upgrade Needed This review has more to do with the car software system than the dealership. About half way home after the service on my 2020 Volvo S60, a low pressu This review has more to do with the car software system than the dealership. About half way home after the service on my 2020 Volvo S60, a low pressure tire warning light came on. The tire app showed orange circles with all tires. The car was handling fine. At home I checked the pressure in all tires. They were all fine - 40 psi hot. I called the dealership and was advised to restart the tire app. After that the warning screen went away. The dealership had no idea why this occurred. The tires were not low in pressure. This was right after the car was serviced for a software update. This is just one example of what I see as a need for Volvo to update its software and software design interface. Johnny Ives was the software designer at Apple who helped create the popularity of Apple devices. Johnny now has his own design company. I would strongly advise Volvo consult with Johnny for future software designs. The Volvo is a great car. But, suffers from a software system that does not meet the same level of excellence. More
