Great service department. I had a flat tire on my XC60 while out of town visiting friends and Volvo Manasquan was the closest dealer that I figured would have a matching tire in stock. I showed up without an appointment, explained the situation and my service advisor, Kevin, was very friendly and accommodating. They had the tire in stock and had me on my way in no time. Worked with Tony in sales on negotiating a deal. He made an offer over the phone and later that evening I called to let the manager know I would leave a deposit since Tony was out at that time. Never got a an offer over the phone and later that evening I called to let the manager know I would leave a deposit since Tony was out at that time. Never got a call back. I reached out the next day and spoke with Tony he said I couldn't leave a deposit until he connects with the manager the next day but that he would be in touch first thing in the AM. Didn't get a call back the next day in the AM as promised so I called back around noon and spoke with Tony. He said his management is telling him they can't "give away" any cars so they can't honor the offer that was made. It was insulting to think a consumer spending over 50k on a car and somehow that was a "give away" like some kind of charity. Clearly it was never a legitimate offer to begin with. Just a bunch of scam artists trying to get you in the door to screw you when the time is right. Do not do business with these liars! More
