Beware of this auto dealership's dishonesty and failure to disclose negative information about used vehicles they offer for sale. Also beware of the vindictiveness that they may exhibit if you do not make to disclose negative information about used vehicles they offer for sale. Also beware of the vindictiveness that they may exhibit if you do not make a purchase after becoming aware of their practices. The people we delt with at Manasquan Volvo were Brett Gardner , sales manager, and Trisha Imbembo, sales person. We went to the dealership to purchase a used Volvo for my wife. After we arrived, we were told that the car that was advertised had just been sold but they had just received a really good used Volvo. After a test drive, we agreed to purchase the car. After inspecting the vehicle more closely in the presence of the sales manager, I noticed that all four tires were dangerously dry rotted, which can easily blow out at highway speed. After I noted this problem, the manager reluctantly agreed to supply new tires. We waited almost two hours while the car was on the lift but no new tires appeared. In the meantime, no one asked permission to run my wife's or my credit and no contract was signed. Because of the nondisclosure of the dangerous tires and apparent problem they had replacing them, we decided this establishment was not worthy of our business and left without making a purchase. That was weeks ago. Since then, we bought a great used Volvo at another dealer for a much better price. However, in what appears to be a vindictive action for not buying their car on their terms, Manasquan Volvo somehow, without our permission, submitted my wife's information to at least three auto finance agencies and purposely had them deny her a loan. There is no way she would have been denied if she had applied for such loan because of her excellent credit rating. She applied for and received a loan since that time for her new car. This is an obvious sad case of what may be known as "sour grapes" by Manasquan Volvo because we refused to buy a car from them when they were uncooperative and in my opinion dishonest by failing to disclose the dangerous tires. I will be posting this review online daily. A copy will also be sent to the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and the New Jersey Coalition of Automotive Retailers (NJCAR) as well as our family's legal team. More

I was very disappointed with my last service. I was charged few hundred dollars more than the initial estimate. I purchased four new tires. The new tires to be the same brand as the ones on the car. I ended up with a brand of tires that I never heard of. Service decided on those tires without consulting me. I might seek future service some where else. More

From start to finish, the experience of leasing a 2025 Volvo XC60 at Volvo Cars Manasquan was excellent.
