Dealership trades in all they stereotypical “car salesman” tropes. One of the most flagrantly dishonest bait and switches I’ve fallen for in a long time. After making an appointment and receiving close to a dozen confirmation texts, I was made to wait around an hour by the salesman who must happen to get all the text leads. Other salesman were free yet he insisted I wait for him. In the meantime I did test drive a nice Tiguan. It was rushed back via text only to be made to wait, again, while other associates just milled around. When the salesman showed me numbers, having not even yet ran my credit, the costs to lease a modest suv were more expensive, by hundreds of dollars per month, than the BMW I’m currently in. Flat out was told “corporate advertises deals and specials that we simply do not accept”.” I was nothing less than insulted for the lack of respect for my intelligence and time. More
Shady business practices. Went to purchase a pre-owned car and had to walk away, even though we loved the car. They reneged on warranty and kept trying to upsell extended warranty after repeated refusals car and had to walk away, even though we loved the car. They also increased the price $5000 and claimed we saw the internet price and had to finance with them. This seems a common practice. Don't waste your time More

I came to this dealership first. And was greeted by Mark. What a true gentleman. Always answered my questions (which was a lot). He went out of his way to help me. I was thankful for all the pictures I recei What a true gentleman. Always answered my questions (which was a lot). He went out of his way to help me. I was thankful for all the pictures I received before deciding on my 2021 Tiguan. They offered me the most for my 2010 Camry. Overall a great experience. I love my compact SUV. More
DO NOT SERVICE YOUR CAR HERE! Please do not take your car to the VW in West Islip, it’s a waste of your time and money. I’ve been there four times and each time , sometimes else was wrong. The last time it to the VW in West Islip, it’s a waste of your time and money. I’ve been there four times and each time , sometimes else was wrong. The last time it was wiring issues (which I didn’t know was covered by my extended warranty ) Nick told me that they didn’t have that information in the system. Hey, if you are reading this, any dealership can look up your information and warranty, just have them call the dealership you purchased your guarantee from. Anyways, I took my car because my engine light came on again after taking it there for the same reason 2 months ago, Nick helped me, and I’ve dealt with him twice and although he seems nice and approachable , he didn’t even know what parts my car needed or the information told from the mechanics. In my last visit, I have pictures where my car sat there for three hours before they even looked at it and once looked , it took around 20 mins for them to put a machine and diagnosed my car. Four hours later, of course they needed more time to diagnose my car and they didn’t know what the issues was. Nick never asked to help me in regards to my extended warranty , the manager who was there, never intervine to ask or help me with my issues to with my car. Please, please, please, if you do not know about cars , you will get scammed here! Went to another dealership; and my warranty was able to cover all the work that West Islip said it couldn’t cover. In addition, their diagnosis on my car was way off and irrelevant to what it really had. Again, don’t be fooled or scammed by these employers. More
