Used to be great years past, then there was a management change and a palpable change in atmosphere. When I bought my GTI, I requested that the BBS wheels from my trade-in be transferred to my purchased car change and a palpable change in atmosphere. When I bought my GTI, I requested that the BBS wheels from my trade-in be transferred to my purchased car, which they did, but I had to school them that the BBS wheels required a different wheel bolt head profile than the ones from the stock wheels. Their error would have caused a safety issue. A later service visit; the tech treated my GTI like a personal toy, had time to fiddle with the radio settings and left the interior in disarray. I voiced my displeasure in an email and never got a response. I'm done permanently. More

Never again will I go there, worst place I have ever been to buy a car. Did not do the things they said they done or will do. Said they test drove the used vehicle that I bought and they did not so when we to buy a car. Did not do the things they said they done or will do. Said they test drove the used vehicle that I bought and they did not so when we did, we found out the rotors were bad, they replaced those but did not detail the car like they said they were going to. Loan papers had 2 different prices and interest rates. They had my new car marked as gray and it is white, they did not return my calls, then they said they were going to get me new plates and they did not, I had to argue with them for days about that and finally went and got them myself because the temp tag was expired. Those are just a few things that we had problems with. BEWARE and stay away from them. More
ABSOLUTELY THE MOST TERRIBLE SERVICE and SAFETY ISSUE WITH TIRE!!! THEY COVERED UP DAMAGE!!! The new vehicle (female owner) was brought back in for tire leak on SAME tire that was previously repaired by WITH TIRE!!! THEY COVERED UP DAMAGE!!! The new vehicle (female owner) was brought back in for tire leak on SAME tire that was previously repaired by the service department. The Tech had ripped a large section of bead off the tire down to steel belt and purposely remounted the damaged tire. This damage was discovered when 2nd Tech broke tire down as they could not understand why it was still leaking when it was brought back in for losing air. We asked that they replace the tire as it wasn’t fixable and clearly was their fault as their service department did the work and then reinstalled the dangerously damaged tire. Scot Clapham was completely unprofessional and un willing to do anything to fix the situation that was clearly created by their Tech. It makes you wonder if they are risking other customers lives with sub standard and dangerous work? Shame on you Scot Clapham!!! More
Service department cracked my windshield on my 2019 Atlas with 10k miles on it, either in car wash or while performing service. Service manager offered to split the cost 50/50 with me. Of course this was a r with 10k miles on it, either in car wash or while performing service. Service manager offered to split the cost 50/50 with me. Of course this was a ridiculous offer by the organization that caused the damage. I asked to speak to the general manager of the dealership and was told he wasn't available and that the offer "was a good as it was going to get." The service managers name was Brian Kaufman. It was clear that Brian didn't care about the Volkswagen name or customer service. Only protecting his own job and bottom line. Tried to contact the general manager multiple times by text, email, and phone calls. Never received a return in correspondence. Will never go to Volkswagen Streetsboro again and may never buy another VW again. I'm on my 5th Volkswagen and have never had this kind of treatment by any customer service business. Will be pursuing corrective action through other legal means. If a car dealership isn't willing to do the right thing in their service department, they certainly won't do the right thing in their sales department. There are plenty of other good VW dealerships in the area like Kempthorn, Akron, and Bedford. This was unfortunately the closest one to home for me. More
Go here if you want to waste your time. If there is one thing i absolutely cant stand is for a dealership to waste my time and try to play me for a fool. I drove two hours to this mistake o If there is one thing i absolutely cant stand is for a dealership to waste my time and try to play me for a fool. I drove two hours to this mistake of a dealership after they continuously called me about coming to test drive and look at a vehicle i had inquired about. Finally made some time to go out there and when i get there they tried to play me and wanted me to fill out a credit app for a test drive. Mind you none of this was mentioned over the phone. I immediately felt judged and thats all i needed to see to realize they arent getting my business. Never judge a book by its cover is something that should be taught at all places. The next person especailly coming into your dealership could be coming to buy 1 or 20 cars for all you know and not only did you miss out on a sale. This negative experience will be shared with anyone who i speak to. Way to go! More
