Great experience with Martin and the entire staff at the Autobarn. I originally had spoken to Martin over the phone about a specific used BMW 650I, since it was a 7 hour drive to the dealership Martin made Autobarn. When I did arrive early Saturday morning the vehicle was already cleaned up and ready to go but a curve ball was thrown at me when Martin had mentioned the dealership had taken a 2008 BMW M6 on trade the night before, boy did I quickly fall in with the M6 and ended up switching my choice and drove off with it back to Kentucky. Great price on the M6 and gave me a great trade in value for my 325I. I highly recommend Martin and this dealership to anyone in need of a vehicle, what a fun experience I had while I was there. I am not a big survey person but I must tell you every time I bring my car in for service, it's like a born again car! I love my beetle bug car and I love Autobarn! I had my car in last week because the time I bring my car in for service, it's like a born again car! I love my beetle bug car and I love Autobarn! I had my car in last week because the check engine light came on. I aways get a convenient appointment. This time I had the pleasure of meeting Ray and he took EXCELLENT care of me! I got a new VW bug for the day because my car wouldn't be ready until the next day. That's the nicest courtesy car I ever had! My car needed some emissions work (catalytic converter, I don't have the paperwork in front of me). Ray explained it to me, how it works and how it is all connected. Ray kept me informed and called me as promised. When I picked my car up, Ray again thoroughly went over the service that was performed and that it was guaranteed for 12 months. He also told me he had all the fluid levels checked, tires, everything was good - and - he had my car detailed! The person who did the detailing did a nice, totally thorough job!! My car was dirty. When I asked Ray if there were any specials going on that could apply to the work I had done, he was able to help me there also. I have a 2002 yellow beetle bug that I bought from this dealer. I only bring it to them for service. I've already talked to Cliff Nelson twice about a new car, but I'm not ready yet (my car has a bud vase, you know)! The service department and all the people I have come into contact with are so friendly. I drive 30 minutes to come here. Everyone knows how much I love my car and I tell them it's because Autobarn takes such good care of me! Thank you so much!! More

Ron Roark was very friendly and answered all my questions. I've been shopping around for 3 months test driving different brands of compact SUV's and visited several different dealerships. I had a few negative experiences from really pushy, obnoxious salesmen and I walked no matter what thy offered, because I knew that's what I would be dealing with regarding service in the long run if I purchased my car from there. That turned me off to buying a car from any of those and I would never return. I came into the Mt Prospect Autobarn prepared for the same kind of experience and brought my brother along as a buffer so that I could really think about what car I wanted to invest in and not worry about the "haggle". It's an expensive pruchase and I'm a single mom, so to me it's a big deal. I knew Volkswagen's quality and safety standards were excellent, it was just a matter of who I would purchase from. All I wanted to do was test drive a used Tiguan to get a feel for it and see what the dealership staff was like. I was pleasantly surprised by Ron's demenor and paitence. I ended up buying a new Tiguan that night. More
