Volkswagen of Ocala Volkswagen of Ocala. I honestly can't say enough about the team of professionals they have working there. I've never bought a car from them but the Volkswagen of Ocala. I honestly can't say enough about the team of professionals they have working there. I've never bought a car from them but the Volkswagen I do own they take care of and treat like it's their own. From the moment I walk in for my appointment till the time I leave is nothing short of a very smooth transition. They always keep me updated as how my car is coming along. I would hate to buy any other make of vehicle knowing I would lose the VW service dept. Thank you to Danny, Mike and the staff that actually work on my car. Blessed More
Answered my questions in plain English, so I understood ever I needed information on the process for turning in a leased VW, and information on lease verses buy for the next time and much more. Merak took the I needed information on the process for turning in a leased VW, and information on lease verses buy for the next time and much more. Merak took the time to explain in a Way that I understood. Now, God willing, I know that even though I live in N.Y., I can lease or purchase my next NEW, FULLY LOADED, VW in FLORIDA, when my current lease is done, at the end of the year. I just hope Merak is still working there when the time comes. More

I am in my late 70's, and I am getting ready to take a 1300 plus mile trip by myself. I went into the service department, and was treated like family. The Service Manager, Mike Allen, heard me and asked a technician to make sure all fluids were checked, as well as the tire pressure, and topped it off with a compliment car wash. I have been driving VW's since the early 70's, and again, have never been treated that good. And it was all free to me. More

Excellent service especially while on vacation for what I thought was a serious condition. More
I found my dream car! I've always wanted a convertible and had many cars with a sunroof over the years. I have always loved the beetle convertible but couldn't afford a bra I've always wanted a convertible and had many cars with a sunroof over the years. I have always loved the beetle convertible but couldn't afford a brand new one. I saw a used certified pre-owned on the vw Ocala website. I was weary because pictures can be deceiving, we arrived and the car was immaculate, and better than I imagined, it looked brand new and not one scratch on it. Christine the Internet sales manager was awesome as well as Nikki, the finance person. I love my new car!!! , More
Don't take your car in for even a recall you won't like what Must read all of it to believe it. I came in for a recall on relay on heated seats malfunction and sunroof drains leaking into car. Both were recalls. Must read all of it to believe it. I came in for a recall on relay on heated seats malfunction and sunroof drains leaking into car. Both were recalls. I usually worked on my own Volkswagens since I worked on them for over 20 years ,but since this was a freebie I thought what the heck. It was somewhere near the end of summer when the repair was done. The service manager came out and told me it was all fixed, Then he started to tell me how I needed a timing belt and since I was going to do that I might as well replace the water pump. I asked him how much this would cost he said somewhere in between 1200 to 1300 dollars. I told him that was funny I had just replaced all that a month ago. He stuttered for awhile. 2 weeks later it started to rain. Inside of the car started getting moist. About another month passed and we got a monsoon. The inside of the car had water all the way through it. I called them up they said somebody probably left a window open. I knew better, They said they had already fixed the recall. I pulled apart the door posts on both sides. They had actually disconnected the tubing that drains the water out of the car. 2 months pass its getting kind of cold. I think I'll turn on the seat heaters. They don't work. I called them they said to much time had gone by. I checked under the seats and all they did was disconnect the heaters. We had bought this car brand new. I have owned nothing but Volkswagens since the 1970's..I couldn't believe the ineptness of this service department. Never again. Beware anybody that goes here. More

Every car I purchase Well, lets see, where to start. Ive purchased 3 cars from this place. So you could say I'm somewhat of an excellent reference. Every car I purchased (all used) 2 VW and one Mazda has had issues. THEY ARE NOT INSPECTING THE USED CARS THEY SELL. 1. car had a loose screw rolling around in the overhead compartment, rear shocks were very soft, driver door inside panel was loose and had lots of play. To credit they did fix it but I had to return to dealership, cost me lots of time. Now to the BIG problem. Bought a CX-9 very nice car... never inspected the car. air filter was dirty and caused very low MPG, spare tire never looked at cause it was still dirty from road and it was flat, not just low but completely FLAT. coolant was also on the lowest limit. Tires were about bald. I called the salesman and he talked to the "manager" offered me a free oil change? Whatever, YOU GUYS SUCK! your never touching my car. wait you didn't touch the car in the first place. More
VERY DISSATISIFIED CUSTOMER !!! Two weeks ago I purchased a 2014 Tiguan. I had issues with the car, so took it back and wanted to exchange it for another. Even though the other !!! Two weeks ago I purchased a 2014 Tiguan. I had issues with the car, so took it back and wanted to exchange it for another. Even though the other 2 cars I was looking at were a few thousand less than the Tiguan, I was told I would have to put more money down and pay more per month. This was partly due, as Dave Mountain put it, because they had to buy back the Tiguan and he was unwilling to pay what I paid for the car-even though he had the car in his shop at that time. The other hidden fees I’m not sure of because of the shady paperwork that was presented to me. I left there very upset with my Tiguan that may or may not still have issues (yet to be seen), and very dissatisfied with my purchase. So, here is my advice as one tired teacher that just wanted to purchase a decent car, do your homework and shop the competition. Then, purchase elsewhere as these people can’t be trusted to take care of you. More

Buyer beware, get it in writing, a handshake is no good here Let the buyer beware. This story is not to illustrate how dumb I can be, (that’s in here) but how disappointed I am with Volkswagen of Ocala. I bought my Camaro there January 1st. Both the salesman and I thought the car had in dash navigation, we discussed how important it is during the sale. Once all was signed, and I was on the way home, I realized it did NOT have nav built in. I went back before even going to the house, very upset. The salesman talked to the sales manager, and assured me they would take care of it. The agreement was that I would pay half, and they would pay half. In all fairness we both made a mistake. I agreed on a handshake. Silly me, I assumed in this day and age no one would be so shady as to not follow through. Boy was I wrong. It’s been a month now, the salesman no longer works there, and the new rep said basically they don’t want to spend that much to fix it (its $1300, half of which I was going to front). Bottom line, I fell for it, but someone at the dealer should have verified the cost of the fix before agreeing to it. I didn’t bat an eyelash at my end. So I have told them I won’t be back, removed the little ad sticker from the car, and now I will make it my mission to share my experience with all you fine folks on the net. Oh by the by they had me fill out a cars.com review positively before I left that first day. That’s kinda shady too, and I will remove or edit that if possible. Share if you would and pass along the word. #vw #volkswagenofocala #volkswagen More
