We purchased our 2023 VW ID 4 in Jan. 2024 and were told we qualified and would receive a $7,500 tax credit. However the dealership FAILED to submit the IRS Form 15400. I am also surprised by any positive ratings. I coordinated a price with a sales person and double checked that we the dealership was in agreement on the price. I told him that I was driving over 100 miles to the dealership and did not want to do that unless the price is settled - I was assured that it was. I got 20 miles away, received a call that they now wanted $500 more than the agreed on price. I said no, turned around and drove the 100 miles back home. This is sorry, deceitful, bait and switch that is what gives car dealers a bad name. I will never do business with this dealership and any of its partners - I don't trust anything they say. More

I'm pretty surprised at all of these positive reviews of VW of Murfreesboro. My Jetta lease is up in a month and a half and I wasn't able to obtain the payoff quote online, so I visited VW of Murfreesboro t VW of Murfreesboro. My Jetta lease is up in a month and a half and I wasn't able to obtain the payoff quote online, so I visited VW of Murfreesboro to get the payoff quote and to also look at a Tiguan. My plan was to just get numbers for the Tiguan using my lease as a "trade-in" and to also get numbers for just buying out my lease. I was informed they wanted to "look" at my credit. After I double checked with Meayesha that it was NOT going to be a hard inquiry on my credit, I was surprised to get not only one, but two notifications from Credit Karma that there had been two hard inquiries on my credit report. This would have been fine if I had consented to my credit being pulled, but I hadn't. At this point, I just wanted my lease payoff quote since they had sold the one Tiguan I was actually interested in. Only showing me a worksheet of the Tiguan, the manager (don't remember his name) wrote down a number, interest rate, and loan term on a random sheet of paper and told me it was the payoff quote for my Jetta. This number they quoted me happened to be ~$3,000 more than my payoff should be as stated in my lease contract. They also wouldn't provide me a detailed breakdown of this payoff quote. After calling VW Credit, I was finally able to obtain my real payoff quote. Surprise! My quote directly from Volkswagen was $3,006 less than what VW of Murfreesboro quoted me. The best part is when Meayesha called me to ask what I still thought of the numbers. I let her know exactly what VW Credit quoted me and said I would be purchasing my lease out. She tried to tell me I would still need to go into the dealership to fill out all of the paperwork. I let her know this is not true and in fact all I need to do is mail in my forms along with the check. As I was thanking her for letting me know I could contact her if I needed anything else, she hung up on me. Or, perhaps we were disconnected. If you value your time and money, I would suggest not coming here, especially if your lease is ending and you're looking at either buying it out or getting into a new Volkswagen. However, if you care more about your monthly payments versus your total purchase price, this might be the dealership for you :) More
