FALSE ADVERTISING. I called before making the 2 hour trip to the dealership to make sure that we would qualify for the 0% Interest for 60 months and for the ORIGINAL MSRP trade in (minus the mileage adjustme to the dealership to make sure that we would qualify for the 0% Interest for 60 months and for the ORIGINAL MSRP trade in (minus the mileage adjustment). The salesman assured me we would get 0% interest on a new VW and he said most customers were getting close to their original MSRP on their trade in. My MSRP was $38,000 before the mileage deduction. They kept wanting to pick a newer used car I was interested in buying before they would tell me the trade in value. After saying we would not go any further they finally told us the trade value. With the car only being a 2013 and less than 140,000 miles they were only going to give me $9,000. When I went I was in the mind set of purchasing a new vehicle, after they would not budge on the MSRP trade in that they strongly advertise we walked away. They were not willing to work with us and kept saying "we cant work with the budget you are wanting to get". I was very disappointed in their advertising as it was very promising and enticing but clearly its just a way to scam people into buying a new car they cannot afford. More
Wife bought a used car here. Buyer beware! Took delivery a week later because it needed to be cleaned. No second smart key, minimal cleaning, been 5 weeks still no title, inspection slip to register. Replac a week later because it needed to be cleaned. No second smart key, minimal cleaning, been 5 weeks still no title, inspection slip to register. Replacement key $300. State late fee $50. Now it needs wheel bearing replacement. More
Truly disappointed by the lack of professionalism at this dealership. I bought a Golf from them in 2019 and have had nothing but issues with it since the purchase. Transmission issue first started in 2020, s dealership. I bought a Golf from them in 2019 and have had nothing but issues with it since the purchase. Transmission issue first started in 2020, somehow not covered by power train warranty. So I went ahead and paid to have it fixed. Few months later the exact same issue happens again. They admit it was likely an issue with the original repair, so they fix it free of charge. A few more months go by and we've got the same issue again. Was told they would do the diagnostic service for free and let me know what the issue is. Guess what....same issue. Had to fight to get the diag fee waved after being promised it was covered. This time they want triple the cost of the first repair and their explanation is "damage is likely due to multiple repairs." So they openly admit their previous shotty repairs have caused the same issue, yet they refuse to fix it for me. This isn't a car that was driven hard, not even a daily driver. It has just under 65,000 miles and has only been serviced by VW. This is not the experience I expected from Volkswagen. I imagined they would stand behind their repairs but they have done no such thing. No chance I will ever buy another VW from them or any other dealer, you don't promise excellent service and then treat your customers like crap. More
