Volkswagen of Lee's Summit

Are you scared? My wife took her TDI for service and was pleased with service department (and still is with service department.) Since we had been to 2016 Car Show I My wife took her TDI for service and was pleased with service department (and still is with service department.) Since we had been to 2016 Car Show I suggested she look at another VW--LSVW was having a 30% off sale. My wife phoned me and suggested I come out and see the beautiful cars. She made comment that the salesperson said the TDIs couldn't be licensed due to emissions issue and recent stop order on the diesels and the fix will be required. After hearing this I showed up. My wife then was basically dumped and ignored as now the salesperson decided I was the mark. After test driving several cars it was assumed I would buy. I then wanted to know more about not being able to license car. The new saying was they weren't sure if this was accurate. My wife made comment several times she just wanted numbers...something that never happened. I also asked several times to see the 2016 Jetta that was suppose to be about $13,000, of course this was never shown for they knew I wouldn't want it. The salesperson who was working with us was replaced by another person--the new one was the one who created things that wasn't accurate. My wife has received several phone calls and the dealership is now "blocked." I hate the fact they can't be trusted and wonder why they would want to do business this way. Highly disappointed and really question if VW will remain our car of choice. I would hope that basic honesty, ethics and listening/communication skills are needed to remain successful. Too bad Lee's Summit Volkswagen had failed on basic business principles. Buyer Beware. More

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! There are several reasons why I regret everyday from making the decision to buy here. Most importantly, they will lie to you often and detrimentally. They are very good and very subtle about this process. I was never told that the vehicle I was purchasing had been in a wreck. The terms that I agreed to were not what I ended up signing for. The interest rate and monthly payments were not what I was told they would be. I also bought this vehicle briefly before the scandal happened and the value on my VW dropped dramatically. Now I am thousands of dollars upside down on it and paying more than I expected I would. The salesmen are cleverly aggressive and deceptive. Please let my experiences be a warning for you and do NOT buy from them. More
