I never considered a lease before- the option fit my situation (divorced and upside down on my vehicle) - it’s always a nervous situation but Josh walked me through the pros and cons and in the long run I’m protected and I have a dependable vehicle! BUYER BEWARE **EDIT 12/10** Make sure to remove ALL personal info from you car, as VW will not take the time to look through or clean your car. I have the previous **EDIT 12/10** Make sure to remove ALL personal info from you car, as VW will not take the time to look through or clean your car. I have the previous owners info and many things I should not know. And I have complained about my key fobs since I got them, and all I got was "you can still use the doorhandle." Very poor service. **EDIT 12/9** (Buyer beware. When Sam got me to look at purchasing a vehicle with VW I was upset because I was 6k upside down on my current loan. She said with this VW I would be a lot closer to positive equity. Well my Jetta is only valued around 9K, but my credit just got hit with a 23K loan. So Same said I would be closer to positive equity, and yet I am now 14k upside an auto loan. Avoid VW Lee's Summit if you can. This experience has continued to become a nightmare day by day.) *EDIT 12/8* (turns out VW does not like honest reviews on Google. Recieved a call begging me to change it to 5 stars. I'm sorry but an honest review is HONEST. It would take some real magic for me to give them 5 stars after all of this.) While I am truly happy with my saleswoman Samantha and her team manager. The rating is due to the service department. I purchased the vehicle on Black Friday, which Samantha went truly above and beyond to get me approved. But now, it has been 13 days, and I have yet to drive the car I have purchased. When I signed the paperwork, I noticed it had an open recall and VW was going to fix it for free, and it should be ready next Wednesday. Wednesday comes around, I get told to come in and it's ready to go. When I get there, I am then told its rims are bent and they are waiting for the new ones to come in, so its actually not ready. So on Monday 12/3 I call service to get an update, and they tell me I have no authority to get an update on my vehicle and I need to contact my saleswoman, EVEN though I can provide the vin and everything. So I go down to VW and Sam tells me service has not given her an update. But she checks again and they wheels should be in on Wednesday. It is now Wednesday night and my car is still not ready, yet the 30 day tag they provided me is still running up. So, xxxxxxto sales team for working so hard and being there for me. But steer away from Service. You'll never see your car.... More

One of the main reasons we returned was the great service received from our sales person Chris Everhart. He was very patient when I kept wanting to try different cars. He painted tension to what we requested and our needs. We did not feel rushed was also surprised that every visit the finance staff Steve even remembered Us. More

I found myself in a precarious position as the mileage e October 2016 It was time to turn my leased Jetta in after the 3yr term was coming to an end. I found myself in a precarious position as the mileage exceeding the allotted amount by almost 20k. I contacted VW Lee's Summit and spoke with a Client Advisor to see what my options were. The woman I spoke with was very nice and provided me with a list of options. I decided to head to the dealership. I spoke with a salesman by the name of Davis Acuff. He seemed very nice and attempted to work with me. We walked the lot and found a vehicle I was interested in. A 2017 Jetta. We walked back to the office and after Davis spoke with the sales manager, I was told it wasn't going to happen. They wouldn't be able to trade my vehicle (2013 Jetta) in for the Jetta based on the residual value BUT they had a 2016 Passat left over from last year's inventory which had “great rebates” that would work. We walked over and looked at the car. I wasn't impressed by any means. Davis brought me back to the office to talk numbers and try to convince me to buy. THIS is where the issue begins We sit down at his desk and begin discussing monthly payments, lease terms, credit, etc. Then at some point, the sales manager came over and introduced himself (I'm unable to recall his name). He was much more aggressive than Davis and eventually took over the process. Davis stood up out of his chair and the SM sat down. There were also 2 other salesman (I'm assuming) that were standing behind me. Davis slid over to my right, just at the edge of my peripheral view and took a passive stance to the conversation. The SM laid out some potential terms for me. $485/month with a 4yr term. I then told him I wasn't interested in leasing beyond 2yrs as I was planning to purchase a Tesla in late 2018. He told me a 2yr lease was out of the question and the 4yr is the only option. Davis must have recognized my apprehension and stepped forward telling me even if I signed for a 4yr lease, I could trade the vehicle in at the 2yr mark due to the amount I'd owe being less than what the vehicle would be worth at that point. He also stated sometimes the dealership even buys back the car if it works for them. This made me feel more comfortable with the idea even though I wasn't too keen on the $485/month payment or being contractually obligated to honor a 4yr term. The SM put more pressure on me trying to get me to shake his hand and agree to make a deal THAT NIGHT. I looked over my shoulder and noticed Davis as well as 2 others standing there around me and instantly felt intimidated. I hesitantly agreed. 5 hours later, I was the not so proud owner of a 2016 Passat. July 2018 I contact the dealership and speak with Davis. Not only can I not trade the vehicle in toward another vehicle (due to the residual AND the vehicle depreciating far beyond what they led me to believe) but I was told prior by VW Credit that dealerships do not buy the vehicle back prior to the lease ending. I expressed my disappointment to Davis for how he and the SM lied to me and pressured me into signing a lease for a term I didn't even want. The ONLY reason I agreed to it was due to the lie about hitting the 2yr milestone and being able to trade it in or sell it back to the dealership. Now what really boils my blood is how Davis responded to me. "Well, Sorry it didn't work out for ya." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? He lied to me, manipulated me into agreeing to a lease I didn’t want, and once he's called out for it, that's all he had to say?? I was moments away from driving the vehicle to their lot, throwing the key on the ground and walking away... credit score be damned. Luckily my level-headed girlfriend calmed me down and talked some sense in to me. We decided to park the vehicle and pay it off as quickly as possible. I now make large lumpsum payments getting it down to $8,800. The vehicle is now valued around $13,000. This dealership took advantage of my situation and basically told me to xxxx off once I called them out on their lie. More
