Was in for oil change had 9am appointment drove in and waited 15 minutes before anyone acknowledge I was there then was told car would be ready after noon around 1pm I call at 1:30 and its still not ready waited 15 minutes before anyone acknowledge I was there then was told car would be ready after noon around 1pm I call at 1:30 and its still not ready maybe 4pm I was told I get there at 4:30 and still wait for Adam to help he sees me and walks off and doesnt return another rep Miguel ended up helping while I wait another 30 minutes for my car to come down that was supposedly ready. Bad experience wont return. More

If I could give zero stars I would. I went in with a check engine light and they told me after 24 hours to check what the light was for (they didn't do any actual inspection and still charged me $190 to check engine light and they told me after 24 hours to check what the light was for (they didn't do any actual inspection and still charged me $190 to read the check engine light) that I needed $800 worth of fluids and $1500 for a cracked charcoal canister for the EVAP system. I had just gotten this repaired and they told me the part would not be under warranty, the vehicle was not safe to drive, and if I didn't want to put the money into the car I should just sell it to them. I took it to the shop where I originally got the EVAP system fixed and they did a full inspection and found that the issue was I was missing a rubber ring in my gas cap. It was $37.... The VW of Downtown Chicago tried to charge my $2500 and convince me my car was undrivable when all I needed was a rubber ring. The fact that they went out of their way to try to get me to sell them my car, make me think it was a safety matter, and lied to me about the warranty is absolutely manipulative and unacceptable. I would never recommend anyone go there. More
