I shopped around about 2 weeks for a specific car but the trim was not very popular. From the first conversation with Bryan until today (when I picked up the car) the experience was pleasant and honest. I'm always completely transparent with what I expect and I do not believe in wasting peoples time. There was no pressure with Bryan and he allowed me to provide my terms. I wasn't 100% sure he could even make the deal happen but in the end, he did. I drove about 40 miles to pick up the car and the process was smooth. Brian actually picked me up at another dealership where I returned my lease and drove me over to VW, not something they had to do. I completed all of the paperwork yesterday at about 5:00 PM to expedite the transaction today. The car was ready for me and we just had to finalize the paperwork. Unfortunately, someone on the staff had a loss in the family and it forced others to step in and help. Everyone was super helpful and kind. Requested a quote from Danbury Volkswagon, and Bryan provided a very competitive quote in a timely manner. I communicated to Bryan that I lived out of state and was waiting also for other quotes from ot provided a very competitive quote in a timely manner. He was polite and not pushy and understood my situation and requested that I keep him in the loop regarding my car search. When I finally received all the quotes from the other dealerships, the quote that Bryan gave me was one of the best. The remaining issue was my trade-in, and it was difficult to get any firm assessment of the trade-in value without actually visiting the dealership. Bryan and Danbury VW was willing to work with me to match trade-in values that other dealerships were promising me. I finally decided to visit Danbury VW to hopefully finalize the purchase, knowing full well that there was a possibility that the deal would fall through if the value for the trade-in did not match my expectation. I had to drive 2 hours to get to the dealership, and I was not disappointed. Bryan with his managers were able to match my expectations for the trade-in and also able to get me a good financing rate. The test drive was fun, and the experience in the dealership was extremely pleasant. The deal was made, and I scheduled to take delivery of the car the following weekend, and another two hour drive to Danbury to pick up the car was also an enjoyable experience. The car was prepped and ready, the signing of the paper work went fast and smooth. Bryan demo'ed the features of the car and I was ready for my drive home. The long drive to Danbury was definitely worth it, I would not hesitate to recommend Bryan of Danbury VW to my friends.
