Like many dealer service departments, the cost is way more than reasonable. $550+ for a so-so battery that lasted less than 4 years? On the plus side, when we declined the service, we were advised suitable replacement brands and warned that adaptation was necessary. We went to a local battery replacement store and had the service recommended by the dealership accomplished without an appointment, on a Saturday, in about 15 minutes, for $200 less. Dealer recommended brand battery, while we waited, including adaptation for $200 less. More
